I haven't started watching it yet but I'd like to ask one thing: are Shi Mok and Yeo Jin still friends here as well? I want to know because this was what I loved about the first season - how they got along with each other as collegues and it was also one of the points the drama was centered on. Can somebody tell me if it's still the case here?
well it is a G-rated drama. As he is an idol he can't do real kisses but their love is just a sweet love not adult…
I've finished it and I really liked the drama as such. I also didn't mind the lack of kiss scenes. Both leads were very convincing and they had good chemistry especially in the last episodes. It's just that... he could have been a bit more warm in his interactions with Piaopiao, that's all :-).
I'm currently on episode 18, love the scenery and both leads, but I can't bring myself to call their relationship "romantic". It's the weirdest to me, lol. I know Wei Chu is supposed to be cold and aloof but shouldn't he soften up a but towards Piao Piao if he liked her. A piece of stone, he is.... The tai chi theme is beautiful, though.
I for one like the way Alan Yu portrays his character. A cold facade with quite some fire inside his tender heart. I also enjoyed the chemistry between the leads.
I'm heartbroken and empty after having completed this show that I waited for so much. The story of Seung Mo and Ji Soo made me cry. I believe her death was what ultimately crashed Seung Mo's endeavours to remain human. He kind of let himself go. And it frustrates me to no end that Ji Soo died believing that he didn't cherish her but Lee An's girlfriend. Had she survived, I'm sure she would have remained by his side, changing him, despite his gruesome past. I seriously want an alternative ending here. The happy one for Lee An and Jae In just isn't enough....
After reading the comments below I won't waste time on this show albeit the first 3 eps were really good imo. However, od there's a second season, I think Jojo will end up with Sun Oh - that's what the opening of the very first ep suggested to me (when she saw him on the other side of the street). I wonder if I'm rights.... Hate cliffhangers the most....
It's really frustrating that all those draggy historical cdramas, no matter how good (or bad), get subbed straight away and you have to wait endlessly for the subs of the contemporary ones. I'm sure there's a logic behind it, but it still irritates me.
I can't quite warm up towards the male lead. It was supposed to be Ahn Hyo Seop and I was very much looking forward to Gim as the mc. The current actor somehow doesn't sit well with me and that's affects my pleasure of watching this drama. Let's see though... I'm curious about the chemistry between both MCs.
I've found the drama healing, however I do have a severe seconda lead crush. What I meani is: I personally found bo Young more compatibile with her first crush.
I honestly don't understand the low (imo) ratings for this drama. I've been really enjoying it so far. What's more, although it's not a romance, it does have a slightly romantic vibe with both leads really accurately cast with a thrilling chemistry. I'd recommend it so far.

It looks like a really enjoyable thing to watch....
