I guess I somehow overlooked it. Can someone please explain to me where the additional 6,500 pairs of shoes suddenly came from, so that we are back to the original 7,000 pairs?
I just watched ep. 12. There is one part I didn't understand. Can someone please explain the relationship of Yoo Ji Hyuk and Yoo Hee Yeon? I thought they had the same father. I didn't understand what Yoo Ji Hyuk talked about with his grandfather when he talked about the past and his father. Did his father cheat on his mother and his sister is the child from that relationship and not from the later marriage?
From what I understood, it should be because there's no one to steal that fate. I mean, the whole point of the…
@yuaena I've just watched the first few minutes of the 2nd episode again. If you go to minute 03:00 and watch the next 5 minutes, everything becomes clear. In retrospect, it's so obvious that his behavior has changed compared to episode 1 and that he has started his 2nd life. There are so many little clues, really clever.
Yeah I got spun by this as well. YJH had his original 10-year stretch but that presumably got overwritten by another…
Thanks for your quick reply, Merry my Demon. I was also thinking about parallel timelines that exist independently of each other. But after reading more comments here under this question, I understand everything a bit better, at least I think so. :-)

Thank you for your explanation, yuaena. You're right, I forgot that KJW herself said: what is bound to happen will happen. I watched the first and second episodes again yesterday to better understand the timelines. My impression was that in the first full first episode, only KJW actually started her second life. She was completely confused and freaked out, while YJH was completely calm and collected. As the second episode begins, it is clear to see that YJH has also started his second life. He learns what the blue heart on his chest means (because KJW tells him about her dad) and he sends KJW to the school reunion.
This wreaks my brain and maybe I'm overthinking it but I have a question: While Kang Ji Won dies on April 12, 2023 and wakes up on April 12, 2013, Yoo Ji Hyuk dies on April 19, 2023 and wakes up on April 19, 2013, a whole week later. This means that in the first week of Kang Ji Won's second life, she already changes Yoo Ji Hyuk's life, simply through the interactions between the two that did not exist in Kang Ji Won's first life, but now exist in Yoo Ji Hyuk's first life. The course for a shared and better future is already set. So why does Yoo Ji Hyuk even die in 2023? If they had both woken up on the same day in their second life, I would understand it, but not that. Or can this not be solved with logic?
Can someone help to find this piece of music? I particularly like a special piece of piano music which is first heard in episode 1 ( ~ min 14:50 to min 15:20) and which later becomes the musical theme for Ji Won and Ji Hyuk. You can also hear it later in episode 7 ( ~ min 53:00 to min 54:45), or also in episode 10 (~ min 48:22 to min 48:50). Does anyone know this piece of music or does anyone know if this track exists outside the TV show or if it was written for the show? Does anyone know where I can find information about the music, or the piece itself?
