I think this will cover until Jeju island arc. Here's how I think
Ep 1: Jinwoo as weakest hunter, family situation, the Double Dungeon disaster, the trial room deaths.
Ep 2: Awakening the System, the penalty quest/training arc, first solo dungeon grinding, Job change, Arise ability, Igris, meeting Yoo Jinho, Reawakening Test.
Ep 3: Founding the agency, Association starts noticing him, quieter character-building episode, mother/Jinah home life gets room to breathe before things escalate again. (Red Gate cut, it's redundant with Ep4/5's "trapped, fight to survive" shape.)
Ep 4: Cartenon Temple arc, Cha Hae-in introduced here, folded into the raid itself so her "scent" confusion about Jinwoo plays out live, mid-crisis, during the betrayal and guardian fight.
Ep 5: Demon Castle / Baran, same events, different emphasis than Ep4: less "bigger fight," more Jinwoo alone in a psychologically hostile, shifting environment. B-plot of Association suspicion building underneath. Keeps it from feeling like a repeat of Ep4's shape.
Ep 6: Jeju Island arc part 1, Japan's team wiped out, Korea's S-rank team destroyed, Jinwoo decides to go, arrival, clearing colonies, first sight of the Ant King. Deliberately slower, dread-building "calm before the storm" episode.
Ep 7: Jeju Island / Ant King arc part 2, brutal near-fatal fight, Beru's extraction as the emotional and power-fantasy climax. Recovery, reveal to the Association, National Level Hunter status. final scene with healed mother/Jinah (callback to Ep1). Post-credit: glimpse of a Ruler/Monarch.

Probably gonna kill S1 FL off screen somewhere and introduce a new character. Happened many times in other dramas.…
I'd be stunned if they killed off her character off screen. It's more likely she will be written off like she was assigned to a different police station somewhere else.
What's with the ratings lately? I almost didn't watch this one because of it. Talk about travesty!!
Guys this series is an interesting one. It's dark, gritty but hilarious family drama with superpowers. So if you are hesitating due to the ratings, don't, just dive in!
I see people who are dropping because they dislike the FL. I don't like her much either but I'm not dropping because she's interesting and it's obvious she's going to get character development. I'm very interested to see how they turn her around from a grifter who sleeps with and marries her victims to a genuinely caring person. It's nice to have a morally gray FL esp. because all of the characters are deeply messy and no one is wholly good except for Ina.
As someone who makes Shioh & Namsoon ship edits, it's absolutely bewildering to see how many people get upset over it. It's to the point where they're arguing and abusing people in the comments of my videos. This is a fictional drama! It's NOT real. These are NOT REAL PEOPLE. We don't have to apply real life morals to the characters we root for. It's all a fantasy.
At the end of the day, the ending has already been written & she will probably end up with Heesik. So quit ruining peoples fun and let them ship who they want!
