It started good and even with all the cliches it was fun to watch, but the last couple of episodes were a big let down, from the slap to Darim onward. And the way they handle the second pair and wrapped up their story... meh. It's really pity.
I've been enjoying the drama so far. I like both the FL and ML and I find them ententaining enough to keep watching. But the script (as well the post-production and such) leaves a lot to be desired. In the lastest episode, how can you kill off a character like Ruling like that, offscreen? She's not the main character, but still important to the story and we didn't even see what happend to her. At first I thought she was faking it! It didn't feel impactful in the slightest! Then again, seeing her dead and knowing that she coming back in the same episode makes me wonder what is even the point of her death. To show Lingyang that Sima Jiao is not the evil monster she thought he was and that he cares for her? Good, but the way it is executed is really cheap.
Why do some people start talking about a love triangle btw Tanwa, Trin and Victor? Am I missing a scene or do…
I don't see love triangle either. In the last scene, it seemed to me that Victor just understood that there's something going on between Trin and Tanwa that is not just acquaintance or friendship by the way they looked and smiled at each other.
Also... what about the little sister?
