Found out today. Actually, I don't watch this type of drama but Zhou Xun is in it!!! Love her acting so much!
His acting was on point. And he's is very attractive. I was conflicted, lol!
Watch this short film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzWfmeHKfgs I like him as a real person too. He admired his girlfriend which is an ordinary girl, and they dated for many years. Working in this industry for many years but never had any scandal and put his best effort for his work. I like his working principles. :-)
Well, I subbed this drama because someone here asked me to. Then I started the subs and shared with a few people here at that time. Well, since I didn't have much time because of my personal issue, so this drama took several months until it completed. However, the worst of all was, I didn't check the spelling at all!! There were so many mistakes, especially in early releases. Now, I started fixing the errors and merged all small clips of LHJ in each episode together. If you want to watch this drama again, please search for "Fansub TH047" on Facebook. I made the page to store this drama and perhaps (??) my future project ;-) -- Not soon. Hahaha.... Anyway, if any sites would like to have this drama, feel free to let me know. --DC Fansub TH047--
I might watch it twice! I didn't understand one or two of the jokes so I have a feeling it's one of those that…
Well, if you watch Nang Nak, you have the big picture of the story already. :-) I still think, you have insights into Thai dramas&films much more than me! Generally, Thais believe that spirit continues to exist after death, that is it could be in a form of reincarnation, being in heaven or hell, and becoming a ghost. For the ghost, the story of Nak is the most known. It based on a true story of a woman during King Rama V and it was mentioned that one of the most respected monks for Thais was the one who defeated her (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somdej_Toh) (https://zugangzureinsicht.org/html/lib/authors/thanissaro/toh_en.html) . Nak made the whole district and its neighbors living in fear during that time. Later on, her story was made into a film. Some of the most memorable scenes that appeared in all versions are , for instance, she extended her hand to pick the lemon which dropped to the ground from the second floor and she was waiting for her husband at the pier every day while she was alive. Later, after she died with her baby in her womb, she brought her baby (both ghosts) with her to wait for her husband. Since those scenes were known to Thais, but this film told the same story in a new perspective, from Nak to P'Mak's viewpoint and from a scary to a comedy, while maintaining the original. I guess that's why it became such a big hit in Thailand.
You are right about their actings. Hahaha...(You're lakorn insider!) But this drama by itself, the story, I mean,…
Right! GMM groups do have subtitles to their dramas. So, even though their dramas have very low rating in Thailand but their dramas become international known. Nonetheless, some says if channels make their subs available to international audience, they can't sell their dramas. I think otherwise.
Pee Mak is super hilarious! I really enjoyed watching it. Many people said they watched it more than once. I also watched it twice. It was supposed to be a scary ghost movie, according to its original version but it was not. I have a mixed feeling while watching it, exciting, curious (since most Thais know this original story by heart) and I have lot of laughs! Shutter is very scary...I couldn't finish watching it.
