This drama has never been subbed (for both Season 1 and 2). The drama is pretty heavy for most audience, I think. It's a true family drama. The stories in the drama gets psychologists involved. Each family has its own problem and requires different solutions. The lead actress in this drama is a teacher who is trained in psychology. You may google YT and peep at it at the first few episodes.

#1, #3, #6 actors are my favorite too. Whatever shows they appear in, I always watch! :-)

Your question is quite interesting though. I think the original script was written based on the rebels of small tribes/ethnics in Burma at that time. (Mintada) Back then, there were wars between the main government (Burmeses) and other ethnics (Karen and so on). Now, the situation becomes quite peaceful. I am happy for them. So, the script might get changed according to the situation (???).

This is the problem of watching Chinese drama for me. I've dropped so many dramas after the first episode because the characters in there can't convince me.

This is the main problem of watching a Chinese drama for me. They like to use so young actor & actress in mature roles which they can't convince me at all. Besides, the actresses are way too skinny. I am called a skinny myself but with girls of 155-160 cm height and only weight 40-43 kg are way too thin. Worse is that they play lead roles in action movie and fighting scenes.

Thanks for the comment. I checked out the old version. I haven't seen it though but have heard that it was very popular. So, Ice is the man that Oom is in love with. Quite a unique story, though.

It's much better than I had expected! I like the bad guy, "Tankhun" in this drama. His acting is top!

Well, I think Tik is too old for the role. This novel is one of my all time favorites. I know the story by heart. I think Num & Nat's version is close to the novel. Only thing that annoyed me in this version is Nat's dress. She was beautiful but her cloth was not well-designed. Vier&Kwan version is the worst of all. I like Vier but couldn't bear this drama.
