Kimura Takuya is Japan's king of romance. Beautiful Life, Long Vacation, and Love Generation were his other big romantic hits. For a mature audience I also recommend 3 serious romances from the late 90's which are intense and unique, Aoi Tori, Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake, and Majo no Jouken.

The best! A 10 for me! Even in the midst of war there can be love, compassion, forgiveness; yes, and revenge! Watch this if you haven't!

Best suspense revenge thriller with no slow fillers added. 24 episodes go by in a flash. So glad I watched it!

He's long been one of my favorites and definitely the best looking. I think his best role is in Heaven's Coins. He plays a spoiled rotten bad boy who is reformed by a deaf woman. His acting is over the top, everything from hateful, abusive, humbling, lovable, and dejected.

This was a romance/horror movie! It really sppoked me with the realism! Good acting, but very creepy!

Matsushima, considered one of Japan's most beautiful actresses, together with Song Seung Hun make a sizzling onscreen couple. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm waned with the juvenile horror scenes. A 9 for the romance, a 2 for the plot.

an excellent anti war movie, true and realistic.

Most of Glass Mask 2 is a repeat of Glass Mask 1. Why? I felt like I was watching the same thing almost except for a little touch of romance. Liked them both however. 8.5 for both.

Shu Qi is gorgeous, but the movie is utterly corny and outlandishly ridiculous. This "romance" can't even qualify as a cinderela story when the billionaire has been married twice before. So stupid!

Great movie which has everything: suspense, action, romance, feelings, and a lot of meaning.

Unless you watch the Special which follows the drama, you won't really appreciate this fully. The Special is terrific and explains why sensei acts the way she does. And I actually think it is more powerful coming after the drama than preceding it.

Yes, I hated the beginning and Choi Jin Sil's hair and looks. The ending was better, but overall just okay for me. I do enjoy Jung Joon Hoo. Choi Jin Sil was better in A Star in My Heart.

Finished this and loved it. I really like the endings of that writer. In this the question was whether Iki was a hero or villan answered well at end. I will watch your recommendations.
