this kdrama has been lingering even after i’ve finished it

“Love transcends time and will always prevail through every timeline” 🎡

This K-drama was just a casual recommendation from my friends — it’s been around since last year, but I only gave it a shot recently. At first, I thought the plot was a bit cheesy and slow, but as it progressed… oh boy, I got hooked. I was watching 2–3 episodes a day, even sneaking in an ep during lunch at work.

The plot, cinematography, and OST all worked so well together to bring out the heart of the story. The love between the two leads? Overflowing. It was so heartfelt and pure that it pulled me in completely. That said, I do feel sad for the second male lead — he really deserved better!

Also noticed something funny — these romcom K-dramas always throw in a bit of mystery or crime towards the middle, and it actually worked here. It added a little spice to the emotional rollercoaster.

Overall, it was such a great watch, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re into time-travel, romance, and slow-burn emotional build-ups.

one of the best kdramas of 2025

a love that spans throughout generations and a story of a family that endures all seasons 🍊

any drama about family will make me cry, I remember crying my heart out while watching this series. even one of the scenes had me crying with sounds (hagulgol in tagalog lol). it’s really a heavy heartfelt drama. IU did an amazing job portraying her characters. i finished this for only five days since it was honestly good and highly recommend this kdrama (for both watchers and non watchers of korean drama). it’s been awhile since i watched something that resonated with me (as a first born son). this kdrama also reminded me that it is everyone’s first time in this life, so be kind.

the kdrama also made us of events that were aligned to the year it was set in, somehow it became a backdrop to it (e.g. IMF etc)

this kdrama was a doozy (in a good way)

I first came across this K-drama while scrolling through Tiktok. It was a short clip of the two main characters dancing to Mr. Chu, and it instantly caught my attention since I love K-pop, especially APINK. I decided to watch it, and honestly, it was a great find because I really enjoyed this series and would gladly recommend this to my friends.

They did an amazing job blending slice of life, romance, drama, mystery, and thriller. It’s rare to find a show that makes me both laugh and cry in the same episode.

no thoughts, head empty while watching this kdrama

I recently came across this series while searching for kdramas to watch, this kdrama was released this year (2025) and placed it on top of my ever growing list since the trailer itself seemed worth it.

To cut to the chase, the FL is completely oblivious, unpredictable yet very persistent and someone who has a very strong personality. The ML is the opposite tbh, a neat freak, very very organized and someone who wants to be control all the time. He’s a bit emotioneless at first but gradually showed different sides upon getting close with the FL. The side characters were also interesting and entertaining, especially the FL’s workmates.

The one thing that bothered me a bit was the revelation at the final episodes of the series, it made me cry, yes, but I cannot really acknowledge the fact that it’s a bit too rushed. Imagine getting your career derailed by someone you love & admire and once again on your second job, you got the same treatment. I felt bad for the FL and the fact that she forgave him after one episode, was a bit weird to me idk haha (should have made it to 16 eps instead lol) TL;DR the plot was rushed to accomodate the 12 episodes. Ending was fine, all the characters had closure and it’s a happy ending.

Overall, I enjoyed watching this since it doesn’t really require any critical thinking. It’s pure laughs and sprinkled with heartfelt moments that me as a viewer can relate to.

I cried in almost every episode…

There was no villain in this story, just life 👩‍👧

This K-drama presented grief in so many forms—sometimes loud and overwhelming, other times quiet and hidden, carried silently as people go on with their day-to-day lives. It reminded me that grief is not always visible, but it lingers, shaping the way we love, move forward, and hold on.

What I appreciated most was how it gave us both perspectives: the one who left, and those who were left behind. Each had their own struggles, regrets, and unspoken feelings, yet all were connected by the same longing for peace.

At its heart, the story was never just about loss—it was about healing, closure, and acceptance. About how even in the deepest pain, life still finds a way to move, to breathe, to grow.

A tender reminder that loss isn’t the end of love—it’s proof that it existed, and that it will continue to shape us 🥺

i now fully understand why this kdrama traumatized my friends…

I remember it was the summer of 2022 and this kdrama was gaining a bit of traction that time and my friend also made us recreate some scenes in our trip to Baguio since we had similar vibes and aesthetics. After all, this drama also centered around friendship. Fast forward to 2025, I was finally able to watch this since this was also recommended by my other friends who are avid fans of watching kdrama.

Where do I begin? I have so many thoughts about this kdrama since it’s so complex yet easy to digest and to understand. The acting, the flow of the story, the musical scoring, the setting, even the editing seemed so perfect. When I watched this, I felt a sudden wave of nostalgia. I felt so immersed in this kdrama as I found it completely relatable. The story explored themes of adolescence & captured it’s essence in the purest form possible. I really like our main characters, each of them had their own struggles and personalities that are realistic. I for once hated Bona since she was a total b to Na Hee Do but overtime she grew on me since she had development. I just know a kdrama is good when I feel angry at a certain character, it shows how good they act and send a clear message to the viewer.

The ending was a shocker of course but it was realistic. There are people in our lives who happen to just cross with our paths. I fully understand now why this kdrama traumatized my friends. It had layers to it and it was beautifully told.

Also somehow, the age gap of the ML and FL was kind of weird in the beginning.

Thai revenge drama is a hidden gem

“vengeance that consumes the soul, leaving scars deeper than betrayal 🥀”

i was finally able to finish this series after banking it for a long time, despite this drama only having 8 eps it will surely get you hooked.

acting was great, especially the main leads of this story. some parts of the series were really emotional especially the confrontation scenes. idk but it did made me tear up a little.

i’m quite unsure if the ending has left me satisfied but i don’t really understand why did they kill the main lead? 🙁so it’s not really a happy ending. thicha did have her revenge but at what cost? a cost of the life of someone she truly loves. and the fact that she’s pregnant??? though i’m still trying to grasp the writers intention but anyways..

this series is loosely based on real life events, it’s quite an eye opener of what’s happening in other countries

One of the best kdramas I watched

An ode to both the tender joys and harsh realities of life, love, and loss — all carried in the heart of a woman who, beneath her cold facade, loves deeply and selflessly. 🍀

Queen of Tears touches on so many aspects — family, friendship, business, career — and the writers handled it beautifully. Despite the large cast, all sixteen episodes give you time to truly connect with each character. They each have their own struggles, motivations, and touching moments. I even found myself crying during breakfast because the scene was so emotional, and I just couldn’t hold back my tears (lol).

The chemistry between the leads was incredible, and both showed so much growth and vulnerability. It’s one of those dramas that lingers even after the credits roll. Definitely recommending this one.
