Actually they did a Twilight: Breaking Dawn on us lmao and left an open ending. I'd say the writer is a genius. This way they retained King Jeongjo's version and also hinted that it might have been a dream or it might be a foreshadowing. This drama is truly a masterpiece, not because of the story but because how it's portrayed. Some moments were truly unforgettable, specially Deok Im's goodbye to her past self and with her, her freedom. I kind of skipped a lot in ep 17 because it was just too sad for me but I did end up tearing up at the entire course of ep 16&17. Bittersweet, beautiful, genius, masterpiece but a bit too much for pandemic people 😭
This is why I trust MDL ratings, absolute gem of a show. Both the leads are amazing, the storyline is interesting. I loveeee how diverse the female characters are and how they are portrayed. Man, junho is getting better and better at swaying hearts!!! I binge watched it till the recent ep and I enjoyed it sooo much! No wonder it was extended! So excited for next episodes!!
Tbh I love good female characters and there are some really bad MCs too in dramas but both the main characters of this show seem like recycled tropes specially for people who've watched www. The only difference is that www's female characters were good. The ML was okay but the female characters were really good. I'm not against the actors here, they're v experienced and talented but I don't think they've have done well in this show, probably because the characters themselves are weirdly constructed and the storyline is going haywire especially the brothers and missing each other trope. It feels like the writer combined a lot of different tropes and made the story. Moreover, it saddens me but the leads have nooo chemistry just idk what is happening with them. Holistically boring.
Omgjgjfjfjfj EPISODE 6 WAS SO GOOD. I'M LIVING FOR THIS DRAMA RNNN. The preview for ep 7 was omg. And even the events depicted are so relatable, there are always people during a crises who :1. Think about only themselves2. Are purely stupid and do things that they are told not to do ( I'm so frustrated that I can't beat that dumbass web influencer to a pulp) 3. Take things to another level (15th floor guy and I've been there with covid oof)4. Help others risking themselves5. Try to profit out of it
Episode 3 was marvellous. Everybody's acting was amazing and so realistic I mean, hat's off. I rarely shed tears but omg those scenes deserve it. I'm surprised this has such low ratings, it's a fantastic drama unlike your usual sunshine and rainbows, without a solid plot or good actors.
Honestly, it feels quite similar to WWW, especially the lead's roles and attitudes and their behaviour towards each other. The FL in WWW was also disinterested-but-interested career oriented while JKY's character was chasing her from the beginning etc. VERY VERY similar. I literally dragged through because of JKY but I'm not particularly looking forward to it.
Finally finally a romcom light kdrama! Excited to watch how it unfolds. Recently, there's been a surge of horror /thriller /crime genres and with the situation of covid, i really really wanted something light and fun. Hope it turns out great.
What is this sudden twist in this drama? Why's it becoming better! I like it, tbh the initial episodes were really boring and the plotline isn't very unique but the relationship between the leads is becoming so cute i can't!!! *silent screams*
I actually thought that its not very engaging in the first ep but ep 2 is better! I'm actually looking forward to next week! If you're giving us after ep 1,give ep 2 a try :)
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THE ENDING?!!!?? WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO THE WRITER? WHAT SENSE DOES THIS MAKE? CANCER PLOT FOR 2 EPISODES, RARA THINKS JUN'S DEAD, 5 YEARS LATER I LOVE YOU WTF??? I'D BE SO FUCKIN ANGRY IF I WAS HER LIKE WTF? 1. Dodosollalasol plot 2. Kidnapping and stalker plot 3. Jun being torn apart plot 4. Jun's betrayal and new girlfriend plot 5. Cancer plot
WTF IS WRONG WITH THIS WRITER?
I usually don't invest being too logical with romcoms and try to just enjoy the story but this was total disappointment. No matter how i not think logically, this was pure stupidity. This drama took of so well till Jun and rara being torn apart cz it fit with the whole plotline, i can understand this but then wtf happened?!
I agree...for it to remain fresh and sweet, 10-12 ep would have been enough. That way, they wouldn’t have had…
Yep I also felt that way, midway through the drama, the whole feel of it changed and the last 4 episodes were totally off like throwing in plots after plots and trying to fit it. Cancer was totally off, it seemed like they didn't have anything to end it and just threw in stuff to make it last.
1. Dodosollalasol plot
2. Kidnapping and stalker plot
3. Jun being torn apart plot
4. Jun's betrayal and new girlfriend plot
5. Cancer plot
