I really liked this drama!! and my fav cross dressing korean drama is Sungkyunkwan scandal which did not even get a mention :( ah well.
I am more interested in the chemistry than anything really. these types of dramas ( idol genre) are mainly fan service anyhow. Taiwan has made a couple dozen of my MOST favorite idol dramas. ( honey and clover was a remake of a jdorama that was so much better than the original it's not funny) I think too many fans start off on Korean dramas and have issues moving on to other asian offerings. I do not think Korea has the corner on the market anymore. I have to say a lot of new chinese dramas are matching or surpassing the korean quality ( To be a better man, Nirvana in fire, ode to joy, song of the desert, Legend of Chosen to mention a FEW off the top of my head) .
And then it dawned on me that fan base will mature and will seek other sources. at first glance it may be all about Kdramas, but in the end its Asian dramas that we are fans of!!!

watch it anyhow because it was seriously a mess but seriously worth it. OMG it is going to be SOOOOO good.

He does have that special grab you something, that's for sure,. i always find myself rooting for him. i REALLY loved his Misaeng role the most because it really allowed him to grow as a character visibly. to the better. It was awesome.

One can only hope. there were so many things that went right for this drama!. Just like some of the classic korean dramas, when everything was perfect, it will be hard to recreate this perfection. Ah but I love those less than perfect ones a lot too!! Just was totally blown away by this. and yes, if you look in the comments it was vmv on july 11th that said that was why they voted one vote and everything. :( sadness abounds.

I watched it. I loved it, ending, beginning, everything. loved it!!! You cannot tell if you are having good days without the occasional bad day for comparison.....

the original story is a tragedy.. just sayin'.

Honey and clover!! the original Japanese version was good but the Taiwanese version is like freaking AMAZINGLY good. and I was surprised because I don't usually favor their remakes. I felt like I was watching an anime come to life, it was really well done, cute and interesting with a perfect cast. I mean they REALLY nailed the casting. I also loved their opening song ost. It still makes me smile fondly when I hear it. It has joined my short list of three OST's that still can stir up my emotions. If you have not seen it, give it a shot. It's on drama fever, kissasian and dramanice plus Hulu is even carrying it :)

Some people rated this drama a one just so it would not be the highest rated drama on this website. go figure. kids eh? On a more serious note, not every one will like this genre. I personally have never seen a drama as good as this one ever. Don't expect one every five years really. At this point I wish the person who admitted they low voted would lose their vote because rating it so low just because they wanted their favorite drama to rate higher is seriously the most dishonorable thing they could do. at least the person making the original comment even watched one episode to give it an honest try.

does this comment section not remind every one of the producers? every one was like "omg it's so SLooooooooow" and then next thing it was " omg PLEASE don't let it end" hahahhaha BUSTED!!! I am going to start this one tonight, and I am going to watch it all the way thru, subbed or not, i could care less!!
I also love the slow build up. but slice of life is my most fav anime style for a reason, it's just normal stuff, sometimes it goes some where crazy, some times it just goes to next week. either one is fine by me.

Ok, without spoilers!! I found this drama exactly what i was looking for. It had makjaeng, drama, romance, family, seriously messed up people, seriously good people and losers and mystery people. it was awesome fun. I marathoned it, I would have hated to do this one a week at a time, i prolly would have exploded at one point or two. recommend if you want a high class daily type drama. it never got as insane as princess aurora, but it got pretty wild and crazy. was a lot of fun.
Lee Sang Woo is brilliant as always, as was a new face for me Ahn Hyo Seop. HOLY COW. that is one seriously scary face because you could just watch him standing or walking or doing nothing at all and give that drama a 10 out of 10. SHEESH. I did try and control myself on this score tho. It is a very optimistic and moralistic drama. tons of cliches. tons of stereotypes but i liked it anyhow. buahahahahhahahaha

this guy!! seriously he is so good in "Happy Home"!!!
super nice looking, lovely voice and great expressiveness makes him an up and coming actor to keep your eye on for sure.

Looks like drama fever has it and that means it will get subbed, its on viki too but subbed just thru ep 7 as well. I love this drama, it has such great strong characters and such weird stories. very very cool.

Fabulous movie. Great for a date night LOL. or any time really.

I have to agree with your Moon embracing the sun. I really love all the actors involved but some of the main ones were poor choices for this drama and did not translate well to the era or the rest of the cast or both. The story itself was really well thought out tho. It is a story worthy of many remakes.

He is def a cutie pie :) love his generous and open smile, it feels like sunshine personified!!

I have been keeping an eye on Dong Yeon!! He is super adorable.

I think they got really mad because it ended up being the number one rated drama on this website. NEENER NEEENER on them. they can never erase that fact with their sabatoge attempts. if not for that bit of stupidity, this would also come up on MDL as the top drama OF ALL TIMES. so they are the losers, those haters hahahahhaha. why? because the truth will ALWAYS still be the truth, that this drama OUT performed even the teenyboppers crap WOO WOOOO!!!!!!!

it is the bromance that slays in this drama. overloaded!! totally maxed out!! better than romance.
