It's a bit of slice of life and a bit of romantic comedy. For me, it wasn't boring, like what some might say, but, rather, simply did not overdramatize. The issues are shown as they are and it was exactly just as needed to connect me with the characters and what they're going through. It was emotional in a way that does not necessitate getting carried away. Oh, and the music. The music did what it had to.

Personally disappointed that there's no sequel when the ending made it feel like there was supposed to be one, especially when the remake just isn't doing it for me.
