I'm watching this on Netflix so I've only watched this up to ep18. So far so good, it's a solid 8/10 for me. I hope the later episodes get better, because this show has a lot of potential! So far, the pacing feels a little slow; the "cheating scandal" dragged on for almost 3 episodes, and a big chunk of it could be cut out. I don't mind politics, but Feng Lanxi's "fighting for the throne" plot feels dragged out, and this is coming from someone who loves Yang Yang a lot. I want to see more Hei Fengxi, and frankly don't really care about the throne fighting. Anyways, I hope it gets better, and the pacing picks up. Also hope we get to see more of Hei-Bai Fengxi together, I really enjoy their dynamics!
started using MDL now to keep track of the dramas i've seen, have to pop on here to say that this is my favorite modern romcom cdrama. no unnecessary drama, no over-controlling parents, no love triangles, no stupid misunderstandings, best of all, FL doesn't fall and end up with a kiss scene lol. i have since rewatched this 4 times, truly my comfort drama :)
