After reading many people here saying this drama reminds them of Meet Yourself, I decided to start watching it while waiting for epis 20-21 to drop. I watched the 1st 5 episodes last night. Meet Yourself is a totally different type of drama. For starters, I cried ugly with the 1st episode of MY, and LMLMV I'm always smiling silly. Also, it seems to me MY is more of a finding oneself meaning in life situation after a major change in your life, whereas LMLMV is more like a puppy love situation and how 2 introverts blooms slowly, slowly into love, like the song says.
Maybe the similarities are that there are a lot of characters in the story, there are many supportive friends and family, each with their own story? But, definitely, they're 2 different types of stories.
Anyway, thank you to all of you who mentioned MY, I'm enjoying it a lot, even with the ugly crying in epi 1, and this way I have something to binge watch while waiting for the rest of the episodes of LMLMV to drop.
although I love epi 19, I was kinda looking forward of seeing MuMu dressed as a female character, since in the novel he actually dresses up as one and the description of how he was dressed was hilarious (I know the author had to change songs and some other stuff due to copyright issues, so maybe that's why the whole cossplaying here was changed). The actor who plays him is really very handsome. Also, in the novel Mo Bai tells the scumbag that MuMu is a police officer, lol

that bamboo raft at the end of epi 18 is very romantic... but also my lawyer mind keeps thinking in terms of torts liability, assumption of risks, lol, ack! No wonder I watch fluffy stuff to try to decompress. On one hand I'm like aww that's lovely! cute! and on the other hand my mind is telling me if I were drunk and tried to go into that raft I'd have ended up in the water and and probably drowned, lol
