SML in the novel is ML's roommate, they're both voice actors, and he has his own story with the SFL and she's the FL's roommate. The girls are still college students (seniors) and the guys are already working, ML is a doctor and I don't remember what's the SML's occupation, probably he's into voice acting dubbing full-time (I think they're 26 or 27, girls are 21 or 22). It's a very sweet story, no breakups, of how 2 people fell in love at first hearing (she's an amateur ancient style singer, he started as an amateur voice actor who's transitioned into commercial dubbing) and she's an avid fan of his voice. I found her (in the novel) as very innocent and naive girl, and how he basically wins her heart. I'm really looking forward to see how it is portrayed in the series.

In TOOL him being a doctor is important to the story, whereas here is not, he also happens to be one. FL likes him 1st because of his voice and actually, he also pursues her because of her voice. So, it's like love at first hearing. The novel is very sweet

There are like 4 or 6 books in this universe, I think, but I read those 2 first, and it turned out they're later books. I read the 1st in the series, Good morning Miss Ghost, then there's Sweetheart in Honeyed Desire which I'm currently reading, but so far those other 2 are more adult oriented in terms of scenes. All are very funny stories.
