japan is king of the weird drama titles lol
Cuckoo's egg refers to a child with uncertain parentage, in the same way that the cuckoo lays its egg in other birds's nest. This expression exists in many languages, not just Japanese. The title is an interesting play on that expression, since the whole show is essentially the nature vs nurture debate.

It feels like This show is taken from a manga. I think i have heard this title or a similar title before. TBS…
It's like a copycat of Otona Joshi: 40-something successful and beautiful woman who happen to be romantically-challenged and have to follow a sarcastic man's advices to court someone else. Otona Joshi is not even a good show and this show contains more cringe-worthy cliches.

A woman with 3 years working experience in a 5-star hotel in Paris went into her new boss's room without permission and told him that he was not welcome at the party for new hires. Yike.

Title Love Song
Well with an age gap of 27 years there will probably be no romance right?... .....right? .....
Harold was in his 20s.

Im into IT industry and I love it and that's the only reason why I pick this, but god the acting is awful here…
Yes' this show is just bad in every way. I don't mind overreacting, but it only works when there's good character development and tension.

would rate higher, since the plot is good, but unfortunately all the non-japanese actors use japanese intonation…
Not to mention all the foreign actors, from the lowly thugs to the elite corporate leaders took 30 seconds to finish a 5-word sentence.

Don't be intimidated by the synopsis. This is a well-written arresting suspense drama that doesn't treat audiences like kids. I'm pleasantly surprised that it was written by the same writer of Legal High and Date.

I liked the concept of it, the execution - not so much. The thing I'm having problem with here the most is that…
I agree. I can see why this drama fell into oblivion as the years go by. There's something very drawn out about the whole narrative and the writer tried too hard to deliver to big social commentary based on one-dimensional characters and cliched dialogues

I marathoned this Drama in one day. I enjoyed the realistic feeling and i felt truly sorry for Miki and Riisa's…
I'd give it a 8.5 since the first episode was flawed in logic, but overall, what a spellbinding piece of art on lost lives and broken souls. Never thought a NHK modern drama can hang such a high production value.

how good is this?? ty for reply
Do you still think it's good? I'm on the fence about it since most of the folks at d-addicts were disappointed with the way Mao' s character was just a Mary Sue but the writer tries too hard to make her important. The ratings seem to prove it.

No Japanese young actress nowadays that reaches Miyazaki's acting level! Her eyes blew me away in every single…
Caught of glimpse of only one random episode an I agree that Aoi has charisma in spades.

I think she and Kaname Jun are the most talented second-tier actors with incredible range, and they can very well be A-lister. But why don't they get more recognition?

I feel like this series has the best production quality out of ten asadoras I've ever seen. For me, an asadora is seldom gripping, but this one is really amazing from beginning to the end.

I thought this drama is very overrated on MDL.
I don't get the Jun Ikeido craze except for Tamiou.

Title Ofukou-san
This is purely entertaining. I prefer it to other silly comedies because Kanjiya Shihori is a versatile actress who can play air-headed character without dumbing down the overall quality of the series.

I've been waiting for a counterargument to the radical Marie Kondo decluttering ritual for a while and this series doesn't disappoint. I think NHK is the best at making quirky slice of life dramas with dashes of a little philosophy and poetry.

As Asa would say, ''What a Suprise' this drama is awesome.
how is Haru' s acting? This asadora scored the highest ratings over the past 10 years so I guess it must be really something.

He had the face of a comedian but he could play dramatic role so beautifully. He was the best in Tiger and Dragon, Tsuri Bakka Nishi and Kazoku no Katachi.

Was season 1 the anime or is there a live-action season 1?
Season 1 was broadcast around the same time last year, but it hasn't been subbed.
