I get what you are saying about Ha Na.She definitely isn't one of my favorite female characters in k-dramaland or anything but she's a nice,normal,average-I don't mean that in a bad way-real girl.

Ha Na ultimately has turned out/will turn out to be the "motivation" that Gong Myung needed in order to study and "grow up" I guess.You know,sometimes we need an..external push to get motivated and inspired.So that's a good thing.I don't see anything wrong with Gong Myung or Kibum being a little lost and not knowing what to do with their lives because that's something that happens in real life. (and to be honest I can relate lol)

I just visualized the 'heart eyes" thing lol Yes it's an obvious loving gaze that shows affection though,not that he's in love with her at this point.I agree that the CPR "kiss" was laughable mainly because I don't know if that can help when someone's having a severe allergic reaction? lol But anyways,that scene shouldn't be romantisized by the writer and the viewers for sure.I have seen viewers go like "They kissed" and I facepalmed but that's on them,not on the writer lol

I get what you are saying-But still the whole romance thing is supposed to be one of the basic elements of this drama's plot,no?And anyways I don't think that much focus has been given to their "romance" so far at least-and if that's the case the ultimate solution is dropping this drama.

Generally speaking it's not unrealistic that someone may feel 'something'-interest,affection,attraction,love,empathy or even hatred-about someone even if they don't know them personally or well or based on things they have noticed,heard or whatever about them,right?That's actually how I see things when it comes to Je Ha.I mean,the fact that Anna caught his attention and him coming to care about her etc etc by watching her through the cctv or from afar and by initially getting to know things about her from others isn't unrealistic at all.Also,I personally don't even consider what's going on to be a 'romance' in the narrow sense as of yet.I just see Je Ha as someone who has developed sympathetic feelings towards someone else in whatever way that may have happened and as someone who shows/communicates that in certain ways and anyways this whole thing has now brought those two close.I don't see anything forced,shallow,fake or whatever at that.

Just wanted to say a few things after reading comments here and there: 1)I don't get why some viewers claim that Je Ha's & Anna's romance is shallow and forced?And that is because we haven't seen any romance going on between them so far..I mean,their relationship is being built up slowly and in a profound way and we shall wait and see how it is going to turn into a romantic relationship.2)The infamous cctv scenes didn't come off as romantic or anything like that at all.Or the rooftoop scene with the ramen and the kitten.During the first cctv scene Je Ha was startled and was watching Anna with wonder as he was witnessing someone getting all happy and excited because of something as simple and trivial as ramen.As to the second cctv scene,he was rooting for her and even prepared the whole thing for her because he just wanted to see her happy even for a bit.I don't think that in those scenes it felt like he was out of character or anything like that.All that showed that he is intrigued by her and her life story and that he feels for her.I mean,just because he is a soldier he can't let his guard down,smile and have a more human/softer side to his personality?And basically,we have seen that side of his in the scenes with the girl in Iraq.And now with the recent developments we have seen how he cares for Anna and wants to protect her.Also,the rooftoop scene in episode 8 with him staring at her and smiling and consoling her,shows once again how he sympathizes with her and reveals that human side of his.3)Sure,all the interactions between Je Ha and the Madam have been intense and they have quite the chemistry and Madam may be fascinated by him-even though I believe that she still loves her husband deep down-but okay shipping these two doesn't mean that viewers shoud go and shit on the Je Ha and Anna storyline.I mean,if that's bothering you that much just stop watching this drama and wait for a drama with a 'Je Ha-Madam'-like loveline lol 4) Some viewers claim that Anna is boring unlike Madam.These two characters shouldn't be compared to begin with since they are completely different with completely different lives,experiences,personalities and age.The only thing they have in common is that both of them have been suffering although Madam has brought it all upon herself whereas Anna's pain and wounds were caused by other people's actions.So just accept each one of them for what they are individually.And yes,Madam is a queen,and the actress' acting is in a different league but still.On that note,Yoona's acting is very decent and convincing in my opinion even and especially in the scenes where she barely spoke/speaks.

Who would be watching this drama if it wasn't for the cuteness of the two leads & all the funny sequences? lol Louis and Bok Sil are a whole new level of adorableness.

This one is typical but quite entertaining & it doesn't lack in quality.Drinking Solo is refreshing and special.One of the biggest drama surprises this year.

Yes you should if you are up for watching a laid back and amusing rom com.The leading couple makes one giggle and smile a lot.

Yes..I liked how the whole story felt real.I mean..It was a case of let's say..indecisiveness,"wrong" circumstances & bad timing.He liked her since day one,he held back because they were supposed to work together,she then got in a relationship,and when she was single again he would hint that he was interested in her,but I guess he held back again because of work & because he might have felt like she needed time to get over the breakup.Like,things like that happen in real life.

The romance is subtle or let's say..mature?

All the characters in Drinking Solo are flawed because that's how we real people are.Jung Seok is someone who has worked hard in order to fulfill his dreams,got let down by people in the process & put up walls so that he wouldn't get hurt again.I guess he is so full of himself,puts others down and is quite jugdemental because he is a perfectionist & has set certain standards so he believes that people who don't live up to them are lacking.He treats his brother the way he does because he thinks that he's been wasting his potential and life away,it's some sort of 'tough love' I guess.Ha Na is a kind-hearted girl who can get weak and beaten,yes,but that's only human.And at the end of the day she only makes things hard for herself & nevertheless she maintains her good nature.I mean,not everyone in this world is a strong-willed & confident badass & anyways we all have our bad days.Gong Myung's been trying my patience to be honest.His clinginess is so annnoying & childish.To be fair,Ha Na should have drawn the line but still.Okay,he has been nice,helpful & considerate when it comes to Ha Na but all that has been accompanied by a total pushy behavior!Plus,him having such a behavior even though he acknowledges-as he recently told Ha Na-that Ha Na didn't really mean the 'If you pass the exam I'll consider going out with you' promise?Super annoying.He needs to grow up.

A cool web series with a realistic premise.Also,the built-up of the main couple's relationship felt so real.

And you know,he said himself that he was behaving towards Go Ho the way he did out of jealousy.A bit childish reaction-behavior but also kind of human,if you get what I mean?Although,before he admitted that I thought he behaved like that in order to suppress his feelings/attraction for her.I'm not familiar with Yuri as an idol but her acting was good,quite natural.

You are totally entitled to your opinion but since you find this drama to be garbage and you just skip scenes then drop it.It's as simple as that.
