I suggest dong the book titled The Reader by Bernhard Schlink with Gong Yoo as adult Michael Berg and Jung Hae-in as the young Berg. Son Ye-jin would be great as Hanna Schmitz.
Wonderful to have found your dream and you are now pursuing it! K dramas have a way of making one think... I know I've written a lot more meaning full stuff since I started watching aa year ago. Many thanks for sharing!
Hi Yoli,France is amazing! Did you enjoy your time there? It has so much history! :)I am glad that you're enjoying…
Unforgettable four years! Something in the Rain reminds of a situation that was very close to my heart. With time, it has become a memory. LOL reliving it vicariously in the drama :)
Hi Patricia - I completely agree with you that Something in the Rain has tons of French overtones in it. Lived in France four years, a couple of decades ago. The drama reminded of stuff but couldn't quite put my finger on it. Thanks much! And yes, I am enjoying the series.
Like alldramaaddict11,Pride was one of the first dramas I watched when I discovered (literally!) Asian dramas. Never was into movies or series and like you, not into sports either... except Morse, Prime Suspect... Pride was fun, engaging, the key to getting me hooked (I guess for good!) into K- and J- dramas/movies. Takuya Kimura is my all time favourite actor!
I am watching Black at the moment but the lady lead - her constant baggy clothes - is so distracting since she is beside the male lead most of the time. I guess it is meant to show her weird side. She always looks like she is about to parachute out of or into the scene.
Nice article; couldn't agree more! Got hooked into K-dramas in the last ten months. First saw KJW in Coffee Prince and have since tried to watch his work. Thank you for this!
Wow! Just realised that of the 13 pieces authored by Ms Kim, posted here, I have watched eight without knowing who the writer was. Totally amazing! Reminded me of the time I was reading Isaac Asimov in my youth. I kept looking for his books. My compliments Ms Kim!!!
Many thanks for sharing!

Sad to say that I have not even started Money Flower... I manage a bookstore; busy with that.
Thank you for this!
My compliments Ms Kim!!!
