Sexy, spicy, kinky, as well as funny and colourful, with two lovely FLs and a great sismance. An interesting and enjoyable adult sex comedy with many realistic and frank conversations among women, and lots of heartwarming and steamy moments. Unfortunately, the second half was focused mainly on romance, going the easy way through the same old tropes we see in every romcom. Overall, nothing groundbreaking but an entertaining watch.
Started this for the cast, finished this for the cast (and will be watching season 2 for the cast too!).
It felt that these 6 episodes were only the introduction to the story (and a long and confusing one tbh), creating more questions than the answers given. But, in spite of the mess this drama was, it was very entertaining and fun, mainly because Kim Nam Gil is always a pleasure to watch in anything (even as this cold, emotionally detached anti-hero), and Cha Eun Woo as a hot cheeky priest as well as the trio's interactions and bantering is something I never knew I wanted in a drama and I'm here for it!
Binge-able, compelling, classy revenge/makjang story that keeps you on your toes from beginning to end. Probably Song Hye Kyo's best performance so far, since this cold, emotionally detached anti-heroine character fits her persona the best. Top notch production, brilliantly filmed, edited and acted. Yeom Hye Ran was a pleasure to watch, as always, while Jung Sung Il and his chemistry with Song Hye Kyo was the drama's absolute highlight. Definitely watching season 2!
Eight couples spending a night and a morning together sharing food, feelings and solace. Fleeting moments, fleeting encounters, fleeting feelings, fleeting glimpses of their souls.
Beautifully written and acted stories, aesthetically palpable production, music, colouring and editing, brilliant metaphors and symbolisms. Highly recommended.
A suspenseful thriller, based on the revenge plan of a 80 year-old man with Alzheimer's disease, masterfully planned and believably executed. Frankly, this movie was a one-man-show, with a fantastic performance from veteran Lee Sung Min, while Nam Joo Hyuk's acting in a more serious role was a pleasant surprise.
With a stellar cast and Koreeda Hirokazu as the screenwriter & director, this was a must-watch for me. Not a masterpiece, but definitely a nice, rewarding watch. A slow-paced and very emotional, affectionate road trip of three broken, abandoned and lonely people (plus a kid and an infant) forming a found-family bond and learning again to belong, trust, love, heal and forgive.
A full action film noir, focused on an undercover yakuza hitman and his dynamics/bromance with a wild cult-raised partner. Bloody, ruthless, with many hardcore action and torture scenes, definitely not for the faint-hearted. Excellent performances from Okada Junichi and Sakaguchi Kentaro.
Dark, strange, gripping, extremely triggering and graphic. A slow-paced, almost plot-less and quiet film, depicting the brutal, empty, nihilistic lives of five outcast teenagers. Watch at your own risk.
An interesting debut from one of Hirokazu Koreeda’s assistant directors and protégés, “My Small Land” is a compassionate and delicate coming-of-age story of 17-year-old Sarya, a young girl from a family of Kurdish refugees who seek asylum in Japan. The story tackles many social issues, such as discrimination and everyday life difficulties the immigrant communities have to cope with -concerning education, employment and relationships-, as well as the communication/language barriers, the struggles of being aware of their heritage (being caught between two cultures), their need of belonging, being accepted and being able to express themselves.
A fast-paced, intense action drama, with nicely inserted comedic, teamwork and bromance moments. Though it was focused way more on the detective/investigation aspect rather than the first responders/firefighters work (and tbh the romance line could have been avoided), overall it was an entertaining watch.
A down-to-earth, tender and un-cringy romance story, with an adorable couple that has admirable communication and character development. A short wholesome jdrama that tackles some serious matters in an honest, realistic way without any unnecessary fillers, complications or angst - and the cutest ML.
Binge-worthy, intense, thrilling and totally engaging, just like the 1st season, with a satisfying closure. More focused on the players and game masters backstories, with girl power vibes all the way! Kuina, Ann, Akane and the "Queen of Hearts" were fantastic. But, I have to admit that Chishiya and Kyuma (Yamapi) were definitely the highlights of this season!
Cute couple, entertaining story.

Definitely not a masterpiece, but nevertheless a fun, wacky ride!
