SpoilerThe first few episodes were really fun. The ML paying attention to every little expression and the FL constantly switching roles for her lies were genuinely hilarious. I thought the whole drama would keep this light and logical tone. But then, I had to watch Si Da’s ridiculous career arc. Until the very last episode, he was madly in love with Rounan, and honestly, it was the worst portrayal of unrequited love I’ve ever seen. I was as happy about the girl who loved Si Da finally giving up on him as I’ve ever been about anything in this drama.
This show gave me 43 episodes of how the entertainment industry works, and barely any meaningful romance. Would rather give me a heartfelt love story than endless shots of Si Da’s career. The main plot of the ML constantly remembering his ex and breaking up with the FL happened at least 300 times. The drama only started to become somewhat tolerable after episode 23—not good, but at least not unwatchable.
The second couple was actually very sweet, and probably the only thing I truly enjoyed here. By the finale, I literally fell asleep while watching. Maybe I fainted, I don’t know. I only watched this drama because of a bet with my cousin, who promised to make me watch a “bad drama” if I lost. To be fair, it wasn’t the absolute worst pick, but still—overall, it was terrible, with very few good scenes.
Don’t watch this, and definitely don’t make others watch it.

Lack of Plot Variety
I'm writing a review for Spring Burning, which stars Chen Fang Tong once again. The drama is almost entirely focused on building a business and making money; it feels like there are no other plotlines. While 'warm and supportive male lead' and 'smart female lead' are fitting descriptions for the show, and their chemistry wasn't bad, I would have loved to see this couple in a different script. Was this review helpful to you?
When Logic Fails, the Fun Begins!
I absolutely loved Almost Delicious! The plot is filled with constant absurdities that are just hilarious. I especially found it so funny that the male lead was constantly vomiting. The contrast between his cold, serious demeanor and the ridiculous situations he finds himself in was brilliant. Honestly, once you stop looking for logic, this drama has a vibe that is incredibly entertaining :DWas this review helpful to you?

I wish I hadn't wasted my time
I've watched 22 episodes of My Dear Guardian and it was actually going quite well. The action and fight scenes were impressive, and ı espcially loved how both sides acted logically and made smart, calculated plans. ı was fully planning to finish the series, but then -the classic cdrama trope happened! the I'am breaking up with you for your own good cliche finally showed up, and honestly, ı've decided to drop the show. I absolutely hate this trope. It's such a shame because the show had a lot of potential. If you still want to continue, my advice would be skip episodes 23-27. It looks like the leads will be apart for at least five episodes and ı just can't deal with that unnecessary drama. I'm out.

I truly love this drama
I just finished my second rewatch of Lighter and Princess. What makes this drama so special is the small details; like seeing the leads interacting in their own world in the background while other characters are talking. It makes everything feel so real. The old friendships and those university days where they all dreamed together were the best parts of the show. Usually, the villains lose in the end, but I honestly thought Gao would stay evil until the very last second. Xu Li Na also returned as a completely different woman in the final episodes. One of the most powerful scenes for me was when Xu Li Na told Li Xun: 'We all changed because of you, but you always stayed the same.' It perfectly sums up his character. Honestly, Li Xun’s arrogance and his 'I’m the best' attitude were annoying at times, but he was right. He definitely provoked Gao, and while Gao was ambitious, Li Xun pushed him even further.
On the other hand, Zhu Yun’s family constantly dragging her home was quite frustrating. However, the unexpected friendship between her father and the CEO in the office was hilarious—men really do become friends so fast!
Despite all the drama, I loved that the leads still had a heart and didn't want their old friends to get hurt. Also, the cozy vibe of their second office alone makes this worth watching—it even made me interested in coding.
My advice: listen to the OST before you start. There’s something magical about hearing a song you already love during a great scene. I truly love this drama.

Another Revenge Story
For the first time, the ending of a Chinese drama actually surprised me. It was technically a classic finale, but Chinese dramas usually end with a happy ending or stay ambiguous. Honestly, even though the male lead died, it’s not a big deal because the leads have starred together in at least four different dramas.I really don't like the male lead's acting; it feels like he’s about to burst out laughing in every single scene. On the other hand, the female lead is very beautiful and her acting is actually good. I don't understand why they keep starring in so many dramas together when they don't even have any chemistry?!
