Title Yumi's Cells Season 3 Spoiler
hmm unfortunately millions of webtoon readers disagree with you, so we're quite glad that the webtoon and the…
I didn't feel like it was too perfect, especially in the beginning when they are starting to get together. But if you're looking for character development within the relationship itself, I feel like at the end the writer made the point that both Yumi and Soonrok has done their homework and learnings from their past relationship which results in their current relationships. So the arc of their relationship (in the webtoon) focuses more on Yumi's growth as a writer (with Isabelle and Saeyi projection) and as an individual. The whole concept of having a signal from the future - which I understand might not be for everyone because of the story skips - but for those who like em I think it ties up Yumi's growth perfectly and the concept of having your cells rooting for you, full conviction that you'll gonna do great and what's meant for you is for you. The first two episodes I'll say stray greatly from the original story, even though it's still good, but I do hope the last two episode-ish of the drama illustrate the signal from the future for yumi's wedding (since 8 episodes is too short anyway to build up their whole relationship to marriage imho)

I agree, but that's the main reason that she didn't do anything to replace him because she admits that she was just being petty. There are definitely misunderstandings to clear up so I'm excited for the next eps and his PoV!

Yumi's Cells is one of the most true to its original work, so the production company didn't make a sequel just…
the original material has massive fandom and they want / need this sequel for closure. without this the story ends midway

Title Yumi's Cells Season 3 Spoiler
I love Yumi <3 But Sunrok is the most bland male lead ever. I don't know how many people here watch South America's…
hmm unfortunately millions of webtoon readers disagree with you, so we're quite glad that the webtoon and the drama director go this way. romance-wise, there are no villain here. and saying yumi pulled a guy last minute just contradict what you say about loving yumi because if you really read, this is like her healthiest relationship ever?? like they prioritise each other?? he's not insecure with her ex?? fellow foodie?? understanding + sweet (the 24 dec scenes that drama babi stole). yumi is a writer now and writer's cell belief in him become the foundation of their romance, plus the role plays! very fitting to yumi writer self. in the chapter when yumi throw away her past babi story draft after it's plagiarised and decided that soonrok is the male lead, one top comment in the webtoon says that yumi's lucky that soonrok got thousand roles/persona to write for. maybe healthy relationship is boring for some people, but then it's ideal and what i want for my favourite character.

i don't think they're going to stick to the webtoon closely (sucks for me), but i wish it has the same spirit and character and conclusion tbh. if they really want to get those subscription money from their massive webtoon fandom, that's what they should do.

yumi is 3 year older in the webtoon. I think they are going to shorten the age gap and make it faithful to the original story. 7 year is not that much of a stretch (from 10 year to 3 year older). Also, KGE looks so young, she played a college student just recently. They don't look like they have 10 year age gap.
We see it in Kdrama all the time, where the male lead is the same age / few year older in the drama but 10+year older in real life. Where the male lead looks obviously much older. I just don't think it's the case here because KGE as Yumi is very cute and young-looking imho.

I guess the show's message is to lower your standards for men... (jk)
soonrok is the greenest flag one can ever have and set the highest standard for me in the webtoon, surpassing woong imho.

Just watched Yumi's Cells season 1 bc of really great review on byrei.ink - indeed it is a great study on how…
oh my God this is the bitter-est, most emotionally stunted take i've ever seen on yumi's cells. you can't digest any nuance in relationship at all. the fact that you interpret love as kiss a$ and did not digest yumi's journey at all. get well soon..

I dont remember the age gap in the webtoons!?
there are a few chapter where soonrok specify yumi nuna status and acts very cute around it (at least, his cells, when talking about priority list). they're quite equal, i think the nuna comes when he wants to act cute around her.

in the manwha she doesn't end up alone LOL she gets married with the last guy
fans of the webtoon are delighted by the poster and the teaser so far, but we've been too disappointed by the drama in season 2 because they take many portions of soonrok's scenes to the cheater.. let's hope for the best.

Just recently rewatched this for the main couple and was surprised on the SLS that is nonexistent in any other forums but here, lol. This might be the only drama where I find Go Kyungpyo handsome. And sexy actually. I mean I've watched his kiss scenes in Reply 1988 and he's good there, but here because of the characters and also PMY the kiss felt more mature. Soooo swoony, really the only saving grace of this drama.

Just rewatched the whole season - my favourite is really the funeral hall! I'm happy with the variety of the cases, from haunting, creepy, fun-makjang-ish, and serious ones (like the last one, very political, very sad). Hope there's more coming!

Title Crime Scene Zero Spoiler
I definitely expected more from JSM because she is very good at skit - I think the detective element of the show…
Let's just agree to disagree. For me there are reasonable substantial evidence against the culprit, again, it's not by luck and gut feeling because it is based on motive, timeline, and everything. Also this happens in some cases in past episodes not only in this season but also past season, especially when the casts missed some crucial evidence. I feel their deduction skills of the casts really shine in the last meeting where Yujin defend herself with her own logic and analysis very well. When I watch that I feel like this is peak Crime Scene. Lol.

Well, it's not guts. It's deduction and analysis. I don't think they were completely clueless (except for Somin maybe but even she manage to snatch the culprit). Personally I liked it more when they can connect the dots on their own analysis rather than obvious physical evidence, because Crime Scene is a lot more mature and less straightforward as whodunnit show rather than just pure comedic variety (like Busted, for example). Understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I definitely expected more from JSM because she is very good at skit - I think the detective element of the show overwhelmed her as she is more used to a straightforward kind of hints in Running Man games rather than ones needing deduction. I feel like they didn't really guess it from JDM bad acting, but from the guilt. The final case feels a bit too serious and emotional for me personally because it's all down to which one has more guilt, Agwi or the Jeweller. I feel like it's a bit more obvious after Jeweller defend herself on like why should I be THAT guilty since I just embezzled money. That makes sense despite how she has lots of evidence against her
