Title Side Story of Fox Volant Spoiler
Even though I was expecting the sworn siblings scene, it was still so heartbreaking 💔. I truly felt the pain in CLS' heart. Nevertheless, she handled everything with such grace which is one of the reasons why I respect her character so much.

There are many kinds of love and I do believe HF loves CLS. He just can’t the way that he already loves YZY. Like he said, he and YZY went through life and death situations together. Nothing afterwards can beat this. The next best way HF can show his affection for CLS is to regard her like his family which I can tell he does genuinely cherish her. If part of his reason for becoming sworn siblings is because he knows CLS has romantic feelings for him, I do appreciate his honesty with her. As opposed to YZY, many times, I wish she would be upfront about her dilemma with him. Though I understand the human heart and feelings are complex, suffering a short pain is better than prolonging long pain.

Title Side Story of Fox Volant Spoiler
I don't think there's any interaction between Hu and Miao again, if they follow this novel directly (the other…
This is my expectation too, but I hope the drama will surprise us and gift us with a reunion before the end. Story opened with MRF and Hu Yi Dao. It would be meaningful to have an end scene with MRF and HF who by then will mature to a true hero just as his father was. I want MRF to see HF at this stage and feel like he's seeing HYD again.

To be honest, I'm a little worried about the latter half. We need villains to drive the plot, but I hope they won't overpower the story and drag it. I like a good villain, but they're all such slimeballs. Emperor Qianlong wanting to control wulin and rid of Red Flower Society is interesting, but if mostly TGN scheming for power...ugh.

I like season 2, but I don't love it. I think the story would've stayed intriguing if WTH was not killed off or at least not so early. He was the most interesting character with his many layers. The plot is fine as it is, but 12 episodes is probably enough to wrap everything up.

Cheng Ling Su finally appeared... for like 5 mins or less. Hahaha! Even so, looking forward to Xing Fei 🥳
I have a lot of admiration and respect for CLS. I can't wait to get here and see her. Xing Fei looks gorgeous in the trailers.

I’m on episode 2. Absolutely love the kid playing HF. He’s got spunk and spirit. I also love the interactions between HF and MRF. Haven’t seen MRF break a smile on his face yet, but the moment he meets HF, HF manages to do it. They even joked about being master/disciple. Sigh… Their relationship is going to be an emotional one to watch.

Nevertheless, I liked that HF’s first impression of MRF is that he is an upright person. Such a shame he had to be told otherwise by 4th Uncle. As he observes MRF more and more --- especially as an adult, I hope to see him trust his intuition and question the conspiracy around his father’s death.

There must be some bigger reason If NaNa killed Jung Hee Joo. I believe she killed her but not for Heejoo and…
Here's what I think may be the main reason... When prosecution searched TJ Group's legal department, WTH asked JHJ to take a laptop from his safe and destroy all the data in it. My guess is JHJ didn’t destroy it and that's how she obtained the footage of the brutal beating by CSW. CNN may have killed her for the footage/rest of the data. At the time of JHJ’s death, CNN’s father was also successfully convicted of financial crimes because an informant tipped off evidence to the Blue House. With the secretive data, CNN could have done it --- to remove her father first, next would be her brother.

Tae-ho never admits he had an affair, only that he liked Hee-joo. What if his wife killed him over nothing?
I agree. He only liked JHJ, but the photos implied to CNN (and others) that there was something more scandalous between them. I look forward to her finding out the real truth. Will she feel remorse and regret? She did admit to Michael Cha that there was love at one point in time. I'm guessing the photos changed all that and why she had an abortion.
On The Good Detective Season 2 Aug 30, 2022
Despite evidence pointing to CSW as the culprit behind JHJ’s death, I still think it's CNN. Why would she panic on the way to the police station and kill WTH? Also, JHJ’s body was found in Gyeonggi-do. That’s also happens to be where CNN’s mother’s home is.

It doesn’t bother me that OJH meets CNN. I mean, he’s the only one on the team who suspects she killed WTH. The more she speaks about it, the more he’s certain of it. The thing is he can’t go off on pure suspicion. He needs hard evidence and CNN is playing the cat/mouse game with him. It’s more interesting to me that she’s not easy to take down, but I have no doubt that he will. The down part is that she knows his ultimate weakness – his mother’s suicide. She uses this to push his buttons. I don’t necessarily see this as a bad thing. As he had told KDC that he needs to stop feeling guilty toward Eun Hye and erase those feelings, he needs to listen to his own advice and do the same for himself. The effect CNN has on OJH proves KDC’s response to him has some truth to it --- that we are human and it’s difficult to let go of these feelings.

On another note, I love grandpa and Eun Hye's friendship. The way grandpa's eyes light up when she's around warms my heart. I teared up when she stood up for him at TJ Group. It's a great reminder that kindness goes a long a way.

Oh, I've seen PP which I love! But I feel bad that I didn't remember JMS is in it. I may need to re-watch it.

A light bulb seemed to go off in his head when she told him her reason for resigning was about her sensitivity to Jung Hee Ju's case and that her father is the police. Then, he convinced to stay at TJ Group. I think somehow he believes these connections will play a part in solving the case. I mean, I do hope she will be a meaningful character.

I only know Jung Moon Sung from Hospital Playlist which I can tell you have seen it. :) After season 2 finished, I did watch the reality series, Three Meals A Day: Doctors. He was one of the guests and from there, I learned he is a musical actor ---- a great one too!

Reading the comments seems like we will not see Tae Ho alive anymore and I am wondering why he called Ji Hyuk…
I agree... I have a similar takeaway about WTH's final moves as well. He looked at peace during his last moments. He sacrificed himself to allow the detectives to look in the right direction --- Cheon Na Na. I'm sure he has set up and left clues behind for them to find --- such as in his safe. His reason to want the Chief's daughter to stay employed at TJ Group is part of his plan too. Somehow he thinks she'll play a part in revealing the truth. We'll see...

Sigh... I really liked his character so I'm sad he's deemed to be killed off. Hopefully, we'll at least see more of him in flashbacks. I still want to know more about his backstory etc.

I want to beat the scriptwriters and directors.. lol The actors did the best they could with the script
I thought the script got a bit wacky shortly after Mount Wu, but I still adore the drama bcuz of HFX and BFX. I don't want the drama to end bcuz I'm really going miss them. The script did it right in how they wrote FQW though - strong female amongst the male dominant court and loyal friend. This part I am pleased.

I agree the actors are doing an awesome job. From the BTS, you can tell everyone worked really hard on the production.

Title Who Rules the World Spoiler
I'm annoyed at how the writer continuously makes the characters denser for the sake of the plot. FLX still don't…
HFX does know her identity. YWY only figured it out because he knew HFX would only make peace with Qingzhou because of a wildcard, which is BFX/FXY, so he knows HFX knew all along. Does this make sense?

Here's also why I think HFX knows... Throughout their trip in Liangcheng, he tried to fish it out of her by asking how she is knowledgeable of certain stuff like the canals etc, but she remained hush about it. Also, when he was reviewing the dam project with her brother, the brother asked him what his intentions are because the plan coincidentally benefits Qingzhou as well. He named a few political reasons. His last reason was that he wants to protect someone and looked at BFX (meaning he wants to protect FXY). If he is to marry BFX/FXY, he needed to resolve the conflict and have Yongzhou/Qingzhou be allies. I think he is opting to be oblivious for her sake because he can tell she was stressed out about revealing it. It was also an opportunity for him to gain her brother’s favor and rule out any doubts about him.

But whether she's BFX or FXY, she is the same person to him.

Title Grid Spoiler
Sae Ha's father is the scientist, Dr. Kwon. Basically, we were misled into thinking that he was the janitor's…
I believe the janitor's adopted son is alive. The government declared him deceased on paper because they could not locate him. There is no official confirmation that he is dead. I am thinking we have seen the janitor's adopted son, but we do not know who he is yet. Eo Jin has been secretive and mysterious so my guess is him. However, I read others guessing it is Kim Ma Nok. We shall see... LOL.

In order for the grid to exist, the past must happen as it did so Sae Ha realized his father must die for the sake of humanity. I felt so sorry for him when he tearfully hugged his parents goodbye in the changed 2021. (Great acting by Seo Kang Joon.)

The janitor died, but not the security guard. He is still alive in the original timeline. He seems odd though.

You're welcome!

After watching episode 7, I feel that I lost something....who is Kim Sae Ha's father? is he the scientist or security…
Sae Ha's father is the scientist, Dr. Kwon. Basically, we were misled into thinking that he was the janitor's adopted son. The Bureau only mentioned the janitor being killed by Ghost, but in fact, his father (Dr. Kwon) died as well. This omission upset Sae Ha. Also, in episode 6, when Sae Byeok told Sae Ha that she knows he is the child who witnessed the death of the janitor in the video, he told her that he is not. Having seen episode 7, why he said that makes sense now. It was not him. He was at home.

Kim Saeha and the ghost must be connected somehow..
Yes. Ghost killed KSH's adopted dad, but she did not kill him who witnessed everything. There has to be a reason for that. There is also the mystery of who are his real parents. I hope the story will answer this part too.

Eo Jin was kicked out of the grid control team and transferred to the secretariat because he had pointed out something wrong about it. He obviously has his motives, but this makes me believe that they are not ill-intentioned. I have a feeling that he knows the Bureau is up to no good in trying to catch Ghost and in advancing technologies. It does not look like it right now, but he might be the real hero in protecting mankind in the end. When he was married to Sae Byeok, he did not share things with her because he did not want his actions to affect her. He probably intentionally pushed her away to keep her safe, but she ended up getting involved anyway.

Though slow-burn, I like the story so far. I always want to see more after each episode ends. The issue is the format of the release. Disney+ should have released all the episodes together or at least air 2 episodes per week. 1 episode per week breaks the flow in the momentum of the story. 5 more episodes to go. As a fan of Lee Soo Yeon's previous projects, I am curious to find out how everything ties together in the end.
