all his roles that have done well were either carried by other traffic stars or manipulated and overhyped by platforms

I've noticed iqiyi seems to be pushing out very similar kinds of dramas! really hoping dnad & twot have unique storylines, or atleast air them before any other similar plot drama they have

on the topic of reservations and projects, I really hope c-yuanbaos can figure out a way to restrategize their reserving techniques for czy's dramas. create multiple accounts if they have to and organize massive projects to reach reservation goals, not just following him around in droves with their phones in his face.
I hear they're doing better in other stuff like cfs and hot searches but I hope they can give reservations priority too.

most of these traffic stars with consistent high reservations are mostly fandom work (maybe agency & platform manipulations too who knows really) but yes fandom power seems like the driving factor.

I know most say reservations dont matter if script is bad which is fair too, but i think production companies and investors pay attention to these things and consistent Low reservations for an actor can mean low demand to them, meaning less high quality projects for the actor in the future.

if J.zheng with similar traffic can hit 1m on an 🥝 period piece project like dnad, i see no reason why dnad should be lagging this much, not to even mention twot with its romance plot still at 600k.

correct me if I'm wrong but have any of his dramas since hidden love hit 1m? I can't find any info on princess&werewolf or sf4, or maybe they weren't available for reservations?

then again if its really agencies pushing reservations numbers for their actors, grammarie will forever remain useless in everything it seems.

agreed. he's really incredibly talented with ethereal visuals to match too so yeah it's almost unbelievable that he's currently lagging behind most of his peers in terms of popularity in China. I blame his agency truly
