iqiyi doesn't see him as priority, neither does his useless agency so how can he breakout or even maintain the little popularity he's managed to gather since 2023.

a basic example is even something as bare minimum as outfits for events?? like they make him repeat outfits or wear the exact same 2 colors and styling for literally every event I really don't get it!

I know some may disagree but to me that just seemed like the next step he needed to elevate him especially with the billing scandal earlier in the year? it would have shut up antis and continued popularity trajectory.

by the way on the topic of bad acting, LJ seems like she has very good facial acting. her expressions are on point but as soon as she opened her mouth in the trailer it was not very convincing at all lol, she sounded like a teenager throwing tantrums instead of a strong female lead.. I haven't watched any of her dramas so I'm hoping I'm wrong and she's actually good.

agree with excellent scripts but traffic is not useless lol. joy of life is a sequel to an already popular drama, can't say much about the double but youku is definitely good at hyping and pushing their dramas so if one with a good script catches the public's attention, they latch onto it
In my opinion, excellent scripts & budget etc are definitely important but traffic is always the safest bet to get the noise going. traffic and excellent scripts are an unbeatable combination. disregarding traffic in a traffic based industry is quite a choice
