Not bad, Just Not memorable
The first third was so good and had me completely hooked šThe middle part started to drag a bit š¢, and sadly the ending didn't quite deliver for me. I was really looking forward to the reunion between the two leads, but when it finally happened, it felt oddly flat š
I can't even pinpoint exactly what was missingāit just didn't leave much of an impression.
Still, the drama has beautiful visuals, a great soundtrack, and enough interesting moments to keep me watching . Overall, a good watch, just not a memorable oneš

Chemistry Carries ?
Acting:āØThe lead actors did an amazing job š„¹ Their chemistry was the biggest highlight for meāevery scene felt natural and full of sparks. The emotions really came through and made me feel attached to their story.āØ
The supporting cast was decent; they werenāt distracting, but also not very memorable.
Story:āØ
Aside from the leadās relationship, I wasnāt very invested in the overall plot. The story concept is actually good, but 36 episodes felt too long š After episode 24, I found myself skipping and fast-forwarding quite a lot.
Music:āØ
The BGM and OST were really catchy š¶ I often caught myself humming the songs while doing random things, which I think says a lot about how memorable they were.
Rewatch Value:
āØI might rewatch this drama just to relive the amazing chemistry between the leads š„°ābut probably only up to episode 24.

Random Pick ā> New Favorite
iām honestly not even a Chinese drama person ā I clicked this one totally at random with zero expectations. The first episode was a bit awkward, like the scenes were stitched together without a clean flow, and I almost dropped it. But then it suddenly got good. Like⦠really good. The writing felt real, the characters felt alive, and even the supporting roles carried so much weight, I couldnāt look away. I ended up watching 10 episodes straight without realizing it.And this is my first comment ever ā I literally made an account because I couldnāt keep all these feelings to myself š¤£
The part that hit me the most was how they handled the ārival womanā character. Usually sheās treated like a throwaway obstacle, but here she was given softness, hurt, motives, and a goodbye that felt so brutally human. It was honest. It was tender. And it broke me in a way I absolutely did not see coming.
For me the casting was spot on.
I saw a few comments saying the female lead is whiny or not a good fit, but honestly? I donāt see it. Sheās literally meant to be plain and a bit clueless in the beginning ā thatās the whole point š
then became someone who grows slowly and naturally ā and the actress carried that so beautifully. It made her feel real, not dramatic.
And the male lead⦠WOW. His acting is so grounded. His micro-expressions feel so real itās like heās reacting to things off-camera too š.
Also, not gonna lie⦠the supporting characters grew on me way more than I expected. Some of them even stole scenes from the leads š¤£š¤£
If youāre still unsure about watching it, just give it a try. It starts simple, but it warms up in a way that might surprise you š„°
