Terrible vehicle for best actress

I've never written a review before, but this one was so bad it made me angry. I watched this, and kept watching it because Shin Hye-sun is such an exceptionally talented actor that I'd watch he read a phone book. and she disnt disappoint. Her acting was as beautiful, nuanced and moving as always. She even made a stunningly beautiful ballerina. Sadly, that was as far as the quality went for this one. It's hard to say whether the ballet, the storyline (i barely finished it, it got so long & boring) or the bizarre and ghastly theology was worse. They were all so bad. I'm sure that one day L will be a fine actor, but he was insultingly too young & immature (looks & acting) to play this part opposite Shin Hye-sun and was never convincing as anything but a 'rascal'. Lee Dong- gun's performance was excellent too, but he wasn't the leading man, so that just made L's performance even more disappointing. A shambles. So sad for so many talented people to, I have no doubt, worked so hard on this. Always a reminder of what a miracle it is when it all works!
