His BROTHER dies when he’s a teenager and you yell at him, he uses poor judgement but tries to keep you from…
Honestly, I'm hoping they show more of him understanding her perspective in the future episodes because I think that's a great way to rebuild their relationship in a way that helps both of them resolve things. If he acted even a little more remorseful, I'd like him more but as of now he rubs me the wrong way. But let's see cuz I don't think the writers are about to do that anytime soon. I can hope though!
100% agree. I've decided to drop rather than continue to get angry at how badly everyone is treating the FL. What…
Exactly! She's surrounded by people who refuse to see her side. You can't attempt to control to someone and then act like they're unreasonable. Tbh I also agree with your comment on the lawyer. If the lawyer was the ML I think it'd be so much more fun. This is a girl who has been forced to live in that house her whole life due to life circumstances and she hasn't even really seen the world yet. She deserves to ghost everyone.
I should probably drop it too but trying to hold on just to see if I'll end up even remotely close to liking it.

In my opinion, no malicious intent doesn't mean that his actions are justified. Because if he had just been honest and talked to her, she would've been sad but not betrayed. He did a major mind game for her. There's no space for his grief because he created no space for it on his own. She finds out after her mother passes while she's deep in her grief and then she finds that out. Sure he didn't grieve and she's not making space for it but why does she have to when she was in the dark and then played like that? He created a complicated situation and it's up to him to resolve it. Tbh so far he has not been having the best attitude when it comes to her. He has intruded in all aspects of her life to force himself back in her life without even properly acknowledging what happened and making it up to her. I know he is subtly taking care of her but it's understandable that it rubs the wrong way when he's doing it without any agreement from her
I feel for him tbh but he's just as stuck in the past and still hasn't come to terms with what he's done
Dude I know people find the FL annoying but I'm more upset at the ML right now. The FL is clearly not doing well and close to tears almost every time they interact. She's clearly trying to move on and find happiness (selling the house, moving, etc.) and yet he's trying to force her to stay. After finishing the recent episodes, I completely understand her and I'm shocked she's even humoring him. For me, it doesn't look like he's trying to help her heal but the exact opposite. He's coming off as super selfish and uncaring. All he's doing is making her stuck in those feeling even worse. If he wanted to actually help he could apologize and talk about the past rather than intruding on her life and controlling her in such an off putting way. He can make excuses but he hasn't improved from the past. He's way too cocky for someone who had her literally feeling worse when she was already down. And then he acts like she's so unfair for not wanting to be with him and talk to him. Like dude??? Read the room??? This is a girl you lied to in the worst way possible and rather than become a strength he's making it harder for her. Girl's literally crying every day because of him and he can't be damned to be a bit nicer.
I know the writers are going to make her magically resolve her feelings and fall for him again after he "saves the day" or whatever but nah I want a grovelling scene. I want him to actually feel the impact of what he's done not just a few throwaway scenes of him looking at her anti-depressants.
Her dad's a weirdo too. Who just ghosts their daughter like that. She lost her mother and he decided to also act like he was no longer a father.
Anyways, I'm gonna take a pause on this drama because I need a few more episodes. The only reason I'm still invested in this drama is because of the main lead actors. The plot and the reveals are a little too contrived. Like they're so obvious but the way they're revealing it is so annoying. I feel like the slow past reveals in this drama sort of suck because they could've done the reveals beforehand (especially given the way they advertised and implied everything already) and then done flashbacks.
I feel like half of my problems come with the way they've paced this drama. If they showed some more backstory beforehand maybe I'd like the ML.
