I agree with everyone on this - I preferred Alice in Borderlands more over Squid Game but I do see why SG got more popular. It's doing basically the same thing Parasite did which led to it being massive and that is the capitalism theme. Also it's way more realistic than AiB. AiB is kinda too manga-like, the characters are too cartoon-ish, the obvious fanservice (like what's the point of people esp women wearing bikinis all the time?? the real reasoning was kinda ehh) and as someone mentioned you never really get closure on the behind the scenes of the games and who's behind it all. People tend to like having everything explained to them by the end. But idk I loved both but I still prefer AiB over SG mostly because I love the mystery. While in both shows the characters go blindly into the games and have no idea what's going on, AiB has this feeling of loneliness and isolation and it's just way more tense cause you never know what will happen next, where will the games open up or who's gonna die next. In SG you could guess who's gonna win since there can only be one winner, while in AiB new players keep appearing so it's just a neverending cycle. But both shows set up amazing atmospheres (SG being creepy because it's based on playgrounds and just the whole behind the scenes stuff that goes on, and AiB just being dark and mysterious).

how come did this drama drop to a 8.3 rating? wasn't it holding a 9 rating up until now? is this a bug or? ? considering it's still amazing it's weird it dropped to such a low rating when it definitely did deserve that 9 rating!!

this series is REALLY good at pumping up my anxiety to the max huh. the buildups in this one are amazing i'll give them major props for that

same here. i skip through the episodes when they drop but i'm waiting until at least episode 5 to start watching it properly. i hate watching airing dramas :(( i always forget about the previous episode by the time a new one drops

the episode just aired so it will take some time until it gets subbed. but we're lucky the subber is usually really quick with their subbing so expect it to be released by the end of the week :)

oh no it's fine!! i understand there's so many devil movies out there it took me a while to realize none of them are this exact movie too haha it's all fine. hopefully one day it gets picked up by subbers tho :(
