Maybe just me, but anyone notice Huai'en's voice changes? In the earlier episodes, his voice is more normal but then midway through (maybe around episode 8), his voice becomes more raspy, deeper and more hoarse?
I was waiting for it to be fully subbed so I can start watching but they stopped at ep 38 ????why did they drop…
kissasian was stealing those subbed videos from another group. when you watch those kissasian videos, you might have noticed they blocked out a logo - because they were blocking the logo of the group that actually subbed it.
the group has since made their videos harder to access so that why kissasian stopped at episode 38.
I am thinking of starting that but its so long.... Is it good?
are you asking is you should watch the rise of phoenix? if so, i dont recommend. its very long and boring because its a political drama. not much romance.
honestly, i was the same a few months back. watched TMOPB and was totally hooked and would rewatch my fave scenes.…
complete. happy ending. its on youtube, but the subbing is very slow. if you understand mandarin, then no problem. otherwise, you will have to wait for english sibs.
Ep 24-50 birth as baby and growing up and meeting god do war on earth and falling in love with him again and then…
theres a few eps of inital separation, but they are together again in episode 36. and its during this moral trial period that you see him chasing her so you get some sweet moments.
it's been a few months since I finished this drama. I must have rewatched this drama and my favorite scenes and…

i started Love and Destiny because it was from the same production team (and i love NiNi). Love and Destiny is a spin-off of TMOPB...but not really. they stories and characters arent related - it's just a similar concept. the production team was so inspired by TMOPB that they spun off and wrote their own story.
and holy! Love and Destiny is amazing - the story, the characters, the acting, the sets, the costumes - everything is TMOPB and MORE. a few months back, i would have said TMOPB is the best c drama of all time. but now, if i were stranded on a desert island and can only take one c drama with me, it would be Love and Destiny.
It's very different. To be honest, I prefer Love and Destiny. You actually see them fall in love and get these sweet moments between them. In comparison, Eternal Love seems a bit sudden to me. Susu kissed Ye Hua (when he was in dragon snake form) and then...he's in love?
Also, this is of course my personal preference, but I love NiNi and think her acting is far superior to Yang Mi. When Yang Mi was Susu, I was so annoyed with her needy character.
Pretty much from the very beginning. He didn't know her but he lied and said she didn't trespass on his resting…
I disagree. I don't think it was at first sight; he wanted to take her home because he was suspicious of her. If she had the ability to wake him up, then she has the potential to wake up the Demon King.
Their love is more subtle and if I had to pin a moment, he started to feel for her when she first warmed him up (around episode 3) and she fainted and slept in his bed.
eeeeek! can someone please help clarify something? YF once did something that caused QY's mortal husband (San Sang) to die; that's why in the beginning she didn't like YF. what did he do?
summary of ep. 54JX plays the song of Amo's father and told LX he especially went to see her family. LX asks JX…
"Lin Yue Is gonna wake up any moment, Which makes JC And his subordinates nervous. JC decides to kill her. " Do you mean JX (not JC) is nervous and wants to kill LX's mother? Thanks for the summary!
anyone else loving Wu Wan ( LX's pet ) making cute appearances? Even when his in the background
i love him. he wants to protect LX. in ep 44, when JC used magic to make LX fall asleep because she was asking too many questions, Wu Wan growled at JC! i love that that little monster is so protective of her.
Which episode are you at now? One thing I like very much about this drama is that even The medicine kid (Qing…
Right? Pretty much every character thus far has some sort of personality or relevancy in the storyline. Everything is so thought out. Even the OST has grown on me - it captures the mood of the story so well, especially the opening theme.
I'm on episode 36 and I'm super looking forward to JC and LX scenes! They have so many lovely moments but one of my faves is around episode 6, when LX asks JC if he thinks she has what it takes to become a heavenly soldier and when he said no, she thought it was because he thought her too pretty but again, he said no it's because she's too weak. LOLOLOL ????
The more I watch this show, the more I come to love it. As great as TMOPB was, this new story truly is an elevation - from visuals to storyline to character development, everything is so much smoother.
Ni Ni's LX is phenomenal, especially compared to Yang Mi's Su Su / Bai Qian. LX is charming, charismatic - totally lovable even when she was mooning over JC. Her mortal self (A Mo) showcases strong character growth, unlike Su Su who was jusy pitiful (especially during her time in Heaven Realm, where all she did was cry).
We get more moments between LX and JC to see how their love develops; it's great to rewatch and catch those moments of JC being tender towards LX.
Cheng Chen is great as JC, super manly. I was doubtful when they first casted him, but he has definitely grown on me. He owns his character and his microexpressions just goes to show his skill as an actor.
Overall, love this story and looking forward to more.
