Censorship is part of why I watch Korean drama. They generally give you a feel for what's about to happen…
Perhaps it's not even a cigarette and they blur it out so you can't tell. hahahah, jk jk. But I wouldn't be surprised, it's not like they can't add in a smoke effect.

Also, the cigarette thing is the same here in the USA. While it may not be blurred out, we're not allowed to have the act of smoking shown on camera anymore. I'm not sure when that started but at some point, it was. They might show the smoke from the cigarette, but the actual cigarette inside the mouth is a no/no. As far as I know. That's what I remember anyway.

Personally, I just think some of it is weird. In a couple movies I watched, they'd blur down yonder, but not the boobs. I just think that's odd. Those were movies though, not on TV. I also saw a scene where a guy was changing and his boxers were blurred. I mean it wasn't like he had anything sticking out. I guess we don't need to know what his underwear looked like hahaha. It's actually in a recent drama, Missing 9.

The American shows I watch aren't all about sex and violence. Even the ones that center around crime fighting don't have that much graphic scenes in them. You guys are just watching the wrong shows.
