i can't believe tale of the nine-tailed was her first role, she was fantastic in that role i would have never been able to guess!! here's hoping she gets some lead roles soon
for anyone wondering: you absolutely can watch this season without watching the first. to be honest, i would recommend doing it that way because this season was so much better.
the stories of the two seasons are fairly detached - any information from season 1 that you need to understand season 2 is given to you in season 2 so you will have all the context you need to enjoy the story. i watched this season first and was able to follow it easily.
lee yeon's lack of self awareness is crazy. i'm almost in awe of him. he has me cursing his name every single episode but by far the most he got my blood pressure up is at that "i never abandoned you" nonsense. lee rang is stronger than me because if my brother who absolutely did abandon me said that nonsense to me after several episodes of telling me, who he abandoned as a child, not to act like an abandoned child... well there certainly would be no heartwarming brotherly reconciliation. i pray ji ah leaves him she can do better theres other rich men out there girl
