Thank you for writing about Run On! The fact that the series gets a place in my top 5 K-drama despite being the newest to air speaks a lot. The more I dive into the magic of the series, though, I see why it's not something everyone will enjoy.

I hope people will at least give the series a chance like I did, and I wish everyone who has just started will enjoy the journey! Please come find me if you need someone to talk to about the series heheheh :3

This is so accurate lol! It's as if everything has additional colors during the rewatch, making you feel richer than ever. A gem worthy of 11/10 rate indeed. <3

I half agree with your last paragraph about the romance. I can't make it make sense since I don't think we've had any romance-building scenes in the first place. Add the confusing time both leads spent together and apart, it grows increasingly frustrating when JTE always runs and cries every time she meets LG. The ending of episode 10 showcases the actors' acting skills, and I think they are not without chemistry, but the way their relationship is laid out cancels everything out.

Even more unfortunate, the other parts of the drama are not impressive enough. I keep getting pulled out of the world they are building, and that's very disappointing.

Beautiful in its flaws. There were some confusing points (and questionable scenes) that took away some of the fun in watching once you've stopped crying. I still enjoyed the calm atmosphere, the metaphor, and the message they tried to convey, though.

I've watched the first movie. What matters most is that I still had the same feelings when I watched the anime. That's just downright wonderful. I rarely feel like this watching an adaptation. Plot and its pace are ideal, beautiful shots and scenery, great actors, characters development are undoubtedly cut, but we still got to see the important points, good songs. One of the best adaptations out there, and definitely worthy of the third movie! I so can't wait.

I disagree with comments here about annoying characters. I think so far every character has their role and depth to it. At first I was concerned the ghost would be way too dominant and it felt like that due to the human's ability to decide on her own. At first I was concerned that Sun Woo would stay as arrogant and mean as he was. I see now that this is the focus of the story: how the characters develop. I hope what we don't know yet about the characters will be explained in the rest of the series, that will be very wonderful as they open themselves more. By compromising, it opens various possibilities to happen in the future. The journey feels natural up to current point at episode 7. Kudos to the actors/actresses as well for giving their all!

Reading so many negative comments about Yoona's casting makes me feel somehow bad, haha. Yoona, I hope you can understand where we come from. And I'm sure you already know what kind of challenge you're dealing with, taking the role of an eccentric character like Nodame. I find it hard to stay optimistic in this situation, but I hope you will really work hard to once again bring Nodame back to life. Because we all love Nodame (and this series) so much. Good luck!

From a random attempt to cure my boredom as I wait for ItaKiss LiT 2, I was hooked to this series like there is no tomorrow. I finished the whole 20 episodes in a day. The couple is just too sweet that I feel like exploding. Best chemistry for this huge series, no question. Too adorable.

No, you are not. If he can tidy up the hair a bit more, he'll be twice stunning with the suit on. I tend to feel like cutting his hair to make it tidy throughout the drama, lol.

I'm so torn on this, haha. I love Nodame Cantabile very much, it's my favorite Japanese musical drama to this date. I do not read the manga, but I have only heard praises about Ueno Juri's acting as Nodame who perfectly catches her whole self. We can see it from the way she played the character throughout the series. Nodame will be the serious challenge to this movie. I like Joo Won just fine, nothing too extraordinary. I do hope they will put all effort to train the musical side of the actors and actresses and make it as real as possible.

I dropped Skip Beat a while ago, too tired with the plot. Anything new? Or has it ended already, maybe? XD And yeah, I'm so bored that I decided to check my on-hold series, haha. We have some favorite titles and actors/actresses in common, btw. XD
