Here's to hoping the movie Hong Seol does a better job than the tv adaptation. Unpopular opinion but something…
I totally agree. Kim Go Eun may have been praised by many for her performance in the drama version but as a webtoon reader, it's clear that the drama character is NOT the webtoon character at all. Hong Seol in the drama was way more timid and more of a shoujo heroine archetype which fit well with Baek In Ho's gentler drama version. I couldn't ship her with Yoo Jung in the drama either because it just seems that there's such a big power imbalance compared to the webtoon where they're trying to meet each other at the same level. But Park Hae Jin was 100% spot on and showed that he really understood his own character.

Crap. Feeling SLS. I totally ship her with Min De. I feel like, so far, they have more of an emotional connection…
you'll like the novel then. he's actually the male lead there and they have even more of a connection. the drama changed a lot of things, like making Weiyoung's character more typical drama heroine than the schemer she is in the novel

so so many tears and self-torture. slow and angsty throughout all 16 episodes to rival Stairway to Heaven but if you can endure it, the story's quite beautiful. gorgeous cinematography, motif of fate running throughout, themes of guilt and consequences
