SPC and ZZ meet the old man to tell him that they found his first love and muse he cant believe it and is extremely overcome with emotion,SPC(Deng Lun delivers his dialogue so well here you can feel it without subs) has a serious talk with the elder man about finding the woman.. the two of them tell him they can meet her soon as they arrange for him to video call with her while she is in America and the ttwo of them fondly talk about eact other it is very sweet, feels and tears all around.. later Hao MLi pulls SPC aside and she gives him a bank card..looks like it might be hers to help with the project offereing her savings i guess SPC is like no its yours but she insists very passionately to SPC but i think he tells her that its okay and he will find a way(?) ZZ asks Si Xian the girlfriend if something is wrong she says no but ZZ tells her if anything is let her know.. ep 42: a little bit of UWU for SPC here and there♥ we start with like in the prevew SPC is visiting his father in the hospital where they have an emotional conversation, his father gives him a bank card where he and his mom have saved some money for him to use for the project but SPC gives his father the card back to make use of later for his dad(cries what a good son) His father is so proud he tears up and says thank you seeing how he has grown.. later SPC gets a call from ZZ who managed to find a relative of the muse from the old man's paintings after a lot of searching she calls SPC over and tells him about someone on a forum talking about something they were looking for they deduce he may be in America so they give the boy a call turns out he is the grandson of the woman hearing that ZZ excitedly hold SPC's hand tightly and SPC freezes up nervous. eyes wide open(lol cute) they get more info from the boy while holding hands and later get a confirmation of the boy's grandmother being the one they were looking for both SPC and ZZ SO HAPPY ZZ even grabs and Hugs ZZ SO TIGHTLY LOL SPC is obviously happy smiling while she hugs him(took screenshots of this lmao) and afterwards they go home..they are in SPC car laughing and talking lmao and ZZ is like now i should go but SPC convinces her to stay and they listen to music together they talk some more happily SPC keeps looking at her with loving eyes its sooo sweet♥ Fu Xiao(boyfriend) calls ZZ asking if they saw his girlfriend as she was not at home when he got backZZ said she doesnt know she didnt call ZZ but will call him if she calls up Turns out all day Fu was with Luo helping with her shoes and stuff.. and it looks like Luo is started to be fond of him not sure as a friend or what but she is becoming fond of him... the girlfriend was out drinking crying alone in a restaurant getting wasted... I can see why Deng Lun took this role as a project... His character here is the most dynamic here in the modern genre project that he has taken up... its very different from other roles.. here he is a good son, a friend, a rich and a hardworking man & a boy in love willing to wait showing loneliness in his acting very well.. he is so good

i do watch it raw... I dont speak Chinese.. But I understand some words and actions pretty well to see what is going on.. which is why I think this drama is super underrated If they can perform to convince a person who doesnt know the language to show what is happening their acting performances here is pretty good here
ok~~~ I got the situation.. basically the old man might be a very talented artist who wishes to reunite with that woman who might be his first love/muse whom he was inspired by as his muse... in a new clip seen SPC and ZZ are able to find and call up the woman's grandson in the US to ask about his grandmother.. excitedly ZZ holds SPC's hand AND HE ADORABLY FREEZES UP LOL♥♥♥♥♥(like a parent trap situation i guess cute~) another clip shows SPC and ZZ back from somewhere in his car probably dropping her home~ *CUTE* and XiaoSi(Fu's girlfriend from the branch) is somewhere alone drinking her sadness away... (this is the conclusion I got....)
ep 40-41: Not much happens..but also stuff happens.. In these episodes SPC is basically telling the rest of his friends at the branch office now only our main characters seem to work there as the ret may have quit he is telling them about the plan for City of Love Project.. he tells they need funding from investors so we see them with SPC leading the "Money Making Dance"(lol Deng Lun so cute♥) while then we see him approaching a few investors who end up rejecting him so he is just trying to work on getting more funding for their project with his team... Meanwhile we see Ms Bai is in recovery after her surgery and JR tells her he might help SPC out a very nice conversation..later he and SPC sit together for drinks at a bar and have a serious conversation and JR says he is willing to help SPC, SPC later runs into ZZ and tells her JR said he would help and she was basically like "I knew JR would help, hes a nice guy" and SPCis like lol yes he is a good dude they banter and scene change..SPC and ZZ run into an old man trying to break the lock to his own home which SPC later helps to break and they go inside they later realise he may not be any ordinary man and do a bit on research so they head to the library to get some info about him as a way to connect with him as a potential client.. they also get JR to help out as they see that the house is in need of redecoration and the 3 of them inspect the house.. they later sit down with the old man to learn the history about this house and his own story(verrrrrry long plot) but i guess it involves the story about his first love maybe(??) Luo is STILL BOTHERING that couple always calling the boy to help her out with SPC stuff or lile drive her car or help pick shoes for her.. it kinda bothers me now as well... So the development in Today's episode is JR... he starts to see SPC in a new light realizing how hardworking he is and the type of friendship/relationship he has with ZZ a lot of his closeup parts showed JR having new realizations about SPC... in the preview for 42: We see SPC's dad had apparently saved some money for SPC so he gives a card to SPC to use that saved money for kickstarting the funding for City of Love Project.. SPC returns the card to his dad I guess he wants to help obtain all funding on hos own merit (omg HOW MUCH SPC HAS GROWN♥ I FEEL PROUD TT)

I feel that SPC and ZZ are that stage in their relationship where they dont realize they are already dating.. they think about the other a lot now first person to call during troubles... its very heart warming..
