I really love Takeru eversince. He's the reason why I started watching JDramas. And I fell more deeply into him after watching this. For the first time, I've seen him kissed and hugged a girl so many times. I didn't know he can be that sweet, loving and manly. Sides of him we can't see on his other dramas. His gaze really amazes me. How can a person's eyes be so expressive just by looking. I can't take it!
It's been 3 days since Ive finished watching KoiTsudu and I still can't get over TakeMone. I don't think I ever will. Their chemistry is just so great, I almost think they're real. I'm sincerely hoping for more projects to the both of them (to feed my TakeMone ship).
I'm not a fan of medical dramas and I tend to pick Japanese dramas I watch as I'm more into KDramas but this one can be on top of my list. I really love the story, acting, cast and the OST. If ever this drama has a hundred episode, I'll still watch it. That's how good this drama is. I've watched this in one sitting and I'll rewatch this forever.
I'm hoping for season 2 (cross fingers) or a movie version with the same casts just like Rich Man, Poor Woman.
Overall, I'll rate it a hundred star. 10 stars aren't enough for dramas like this. My love for this drama will lasts forever.

For a rom-com lover like me, this drama's a big hit. I really love Aom and Mike's chemistry. Their acting seems real for me. My heart's melting every time there's a sweet scene coming. These two are just perfect for each other. #AoMike is LOVE and I'm looking forward for the future projects of these two.
As for the story, there's not much difference from the original. But if I were to choose between the two, I'll go for this version. I don't know. Maybe because it has much lighter view of the story. You'll laugh when there's a funny scene, you'll cry when there's a sad scene, and you'll melt when there's a romantic scene.

I Didn’t Expect to Fall This Hard… But I Did (A Drama That Stays With You)
The Prisoner of Beauty is easily one of the most impressive dramas I’ve seen in the wuxia genre. Even though it’s only the second one I’ve tried (and I haven’t even finished the first) this drama pulled me in right from the start and hasn’t let go since. The storyline is strong and well-paced, with no unnecessary or draggy scenes. I especially loved how the relationship between the two leads developed. Watching them go from enemies to lovers felt natural and emotionally satisfying. Their chemistry is off the charts and really adds depth to the whole story.
Visually, the drama is stunning. The cinematography is beautiful, the soundtrack fits perfectly, and the overall production quality is top-notch. The cast is also a huge highlight. Every actor fits their role so well and brings something meaningful to the screen.
Liu Yu Ning deserves a special mention. His performance is captivating and full of emotion. I honestly feel like I’ve been missing out by not discovering him sooner.
I’m writing this review a month after finishing the drama... and the fact that I still can’t move on says everything. I’ve even finished Liu Yu Ning’s latest drama A Dream Within a Dream, but The Prisoner of Beauty continues to stay with me. That’s how deeply it affected me.
This is actually the first wuxia drama I’ve fully finished, and I couldn’t have picked a better one. From the story and characters to the visuals and music, everything just works so well together. It’s a drama I’ll definitely remember, and one I’d gladly recommend to anyone looking for something well-made and emotionally engaging.

I love the chemistry of the main leads. As a rom-com lover, I can say I got more than what I expected. There's so many cute and cuddly scenes.
The OSTs are good too.
Don't even think about not watching this drama cause I think you'll miss a pretty good one.

Stayed for Liu Yu Ning, Endured the Politics
Finally finished watching A Dream Within a Dream, and I’m glad I stuck with it until the end. Honestly, I almost dropped this drama midway because of the heavy political plot... it’s just not my cup of tea. I tend to lose interest when the storyline gets too tangled with court politics and power plays. What made me stay? Liu Yu Ning. I’ve been a fan since The Prisoner of Beauty, which was actually the first drama in this genre that I both finished and absolutely loved. After that, I couldn’t find anything that came close to curing my sepanx. So when A Dream Within a Dream dropped with LYN in the cast, I gave it a try... hoping it could live up to my PoB standards.
I did enjoy watching it. The acting was great, the cinematography beautiful, and LYN did not disappoint. But the political messiness made it hard to feel fully immersed at times. While I gave the show a high rating for its strengths, I don’t think it’s something I’d rewatch... unlike PoB, which I could rewatch endlessly.
In short, A Dream Within a Dream was a good ride, just not the kind of journey I’d take again. Worth watching once... especially if you're here for Liu Yu Ning.

I fell for Yoo Seung Ho. He's such an amazing actor. I've only seen him in Missing You and I hated him a lot on that drama. Â I wish to see him more and I am excited about his new project with Kim So Hyun.
There's nothing unlikable about this drama. I cried a lot and laugh a lot. I just soooo love this. I want to have more. I just don't want it to end. It's been a long time since I've felt like this after finishing a drama. I want part 2 T.T!!!!!!!

IT'S WORTH IT!
I really love this series!! ! To the point where I finished Season 2 in one sitting. I didn't sleep at all! I really love the chemistry of Uehara and Nao. I love Uehara especially. He's just so handsome, I can't take it. I don't know why he got all the hate. Maybe because he's just misunderstood. He has a difficult time expressing himself and that's why Nao's so insecure in the relationship. He's not perfect on expressing his feelings and that's what makes him human. We all have flaws.I like Natsume too. He's cute and kind. But Uehara and Nao are just perfect for each other so he really doesn't have a chance. I kinda hate him when he went out of bounds. Betraying his friend and such. And complicating Uehara and Nao's relationship. It was solved by him though so I'll give him some credits.
I hope there's another season (about their married life). Though I know it's just a wishful thinking. I just wanted one hah. Sorry, I've never felt this way towards any drama for a very long time. The so called post-drama addiction and withdrawal syndrome. That's just how good this series is.
I'm really glad I tried this drama. It's really worth my sleepless night.

A Stunning First BL Experience — And I’m Hooked!
I never thought my very first BL drama would capture my heart like this, but Revenged Love truly surprised me. From the opening scenes, the story pulled me in with its mix of emotion, tension, and intrigue. What stood out the most was the incredible chemistry between the main leads. Every glance, every interaction felt so genuine and full of unspoken emotion. A friend recommended it to me, and giving it a chance was one of the best decisions I’ve made as a drama fan. This is a series I’ll be thinking about for a long time. Was this review helpful to you?
