I really love Takeru eversince. He's the reason why I started watching JDramas. And I fell more deeply into him after watching this. For the first time, I've seen him kissed and hugged a girl so many times. I didn't know he can be that sweet, loving and manly. Sides of him we can't see on his other dramas. His gaze really amazes me. How can a person's eyes be so expressive just by looking. I can't take it!
It's been 3 days since Ive finished watching KoiTsudu and I still can't get over TakeMone. I don't think I ever will. Their chemistry is just so great, I almost think they're real. I'm sincerely hoping for more projects to the both of them (to feed my TakeMone ship).
I'm not a fan of medical dramas and I tend to pick Japanese dramas I watch as I'm more into KDramas but this one can be on top of my list. I really love the story, acting, cast and the OST. If ever this drama has a hundred episode, I'll still watch it. That's how good this drama is. I've watched this in one sitting and I'll rewatch this forever.
I'm hoping for season 2 (cross fingers) or a movie version with the same casts just like Rich Man, Poor Woman.
Overall, I'll rate it a hundred star. 10 stars aren't enough for dramas like this. My love for this drama will lasts forever.

For a rom-com lover like me, this drama's a big hit. I really love Aom and Mike's chemistry. Their acting seems real for me. My heart's melting every time there's a sweet scene coming. These two are just perfect for each other. #AoMike is LOVE and I'm looking forward for the future projects of these two.
As for the story, there's not much difference from the original. But if I were to choose between the two, I'll go for this version. I don't know. Maybe because it has much lighter view of the story. You'll laugh when there's a funny scene, you'll cry when there's a sad scene, and you'll melt when there's a romantic scene.

I Didnāt Expect to Fall This Hard⦠But I Did (A Drama That Stays With You)
The Prisoner of Beauty is easily one of the most impressive dramas Iāve seen in the wuxia genre. Even though itās only the second one Iāve tried (and I havenāt even finished the first) this drama pulled me in right from the start and hasnāt let go since. The storyline is strong and well-paced, with no unnecessary or draggy scenes. I especially loved how the relationship between the two leads developed. Watching them go from enemies to lovers felt natural and emotionally satisfying. Their chemistry is off the charts and really adds depth to the whole story.
Visually, the drama is stunning. The cinematography is beautiful, the soundtrack fits perfectly, and the overall production quality is top-notch. The cast is also a huge highlight. Every actor fits their role so well and brings something meaningful to the screen.
Liu Yu Ning deserves a special mention. His performance is captivating and full of emotion. I honestly feel like Iāve been missing out by not discovering him sooner.
Iām writing this review a month after finishing the drama... and the fact that I still canāt move on says everything. Iāve even finished Liu Yu Ningās latest drama A Dream Within a Dream, but The Prisoner of Beauty continues to stay with me. Thatās how deeply it affected me.
This is actually the first wuxia drama Iāve fully finished, and I couldnāt have picked a better one. From the story and characters to the visuals and music, everything just works so well together. Itās a drama Iāll definitely remember, and one Iād gladly recommend to anyone looking for something well-made and emotionally engaging.

Stayed for Liu Yu Ning, Endured the Politics
Finally finished watching A Dream Within a Dream, and Iām glad I stuck with it until the end. Honestly, I almost dropped this drama midway because of the heavy political plot... itās just not my cup of tea. I tend to lose interest when the storyline gets too tangled with court politics and power plays. What made me stay? Liu Yu Ning. Iāve been a fan since The Prisoner of Beauty, which was actually the first drama in this genre that I both finished and absolutely loved. After that, I couldnāt find anything that came close to curing my sepanx. So when A Dream Within a Dream dropped with LYN in the cast, I gave it a try... hoping it could live up to my PoB standards.
I did enjoy watching it. The acting was great, the cinematography beautiful, and LYN did not disappoint. But the political messiness made it hard to feel fully immersed at times. While I gave the show a high rating for its strengths, I donāt think itās something Iād rewatch... unlike PoB, which I could rewatch endlessly.
In short, A Dream Within a Dream was a good ride, just not the kind of journey Iād take again. Worth watching once... especially if you're here for Liu Yu Ning.

I love the chemistry of the main leads. As a rom-com lover, I can say I got more than what I expected. There's so many cute and cuddly scenes.
The OSTs are good too.
Don't even think about not watching this drama cause I think you'll miss a pretty good one.

A Surprisingly Addictive Modern Romance
Love Between Lines is officially one of my favorite completed dramas of 2026, and honestly, I couldnāt have asked for a better watch. From the very first episode, the drama completely pulled me in with its realistic storyline, strong performances, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the undeniable chemistry between the main leads. There wasnāt a single dull moment. Every episode felt engaging, emotional, and absolutely worth watching. Itās the kind of drama where you keep saying, ājust one more episode,ā and before you know it, itās already way past bedtime.
Despite my very busy work schedule, I still found myself staying up late night after night just to squeeze in a few more episodes. Two sleepless nights later, I can confidently say every bit of lost sleep was totally worth it. As a sucker for romance, this drama delivered everything I was hoping for. The skinship is definitely not subtle.. itās natural, frequent, and adds so much to the emotional connection between the leads.
Now that Iāve finished it, Iām already searching for my next binge-watch, preferably something that can give me the same level of romance and chemistry. Still, itās going to take some time for me to move on from Love Between Lines. This drama set the bar high and will definitely stay with me for a while.
Highly recommended. š
Rating: 10/10

Beautiful Yet Painful ā The Drama I Feared to Watch, Yet Couldnāt Stop
I finally finished Snowdrop and cried so much at the ending. This is exactly why I avoided it for so long ā because I knew it was going to be tragic and heartbreaking. Lim Soo Ho really deserved better. It had been on my PTW list since before it even started airing, but I couldnāt bring myself to watch it for years because of the bittersweet ending. Iāve never been a fan of heavy political plots, and this drama reminded me why. I really only came for the romance. Unfortunately, there werenāt many romantic moments, but the little we got was so precious. Jung Hae In and Jisooās chemistry was just superb, and those small bits of romance were enough to make my heart ache.
The acting across the cast was outstanding. Every performance was delivered so well that it pulled me deeper into the story. Still, I canāt help but wish the ending had been different, even just to give the leads a tiny chance to be happy together. Maybe thatās asking too much, but itās what I hoped for.
Despite the heartbreak, I genuinely enjoyed watching Snowdrop. It even cost me some sleepless nights since I had to watch late after work, but it was worth every lost hour of sleep.

Unexpected BL Gem! Top Form = Top Tier
OMG! I just finished this and I did NOT expect to be this obsessed šš From episode 1, I was already hooked! Iām still new to BL dramas, but this one seriously blew me away. The story and pacing were so good! Not once did I feel bored. The acting?? AMAZING. And donāt even get me started on the chemistry⦠it was literally overflowing in every scene. The leads made everything feel so natural and real, I couldnāt stop smiling (and screaming inside lol).
I honestly didnāt think Iād enjoy this BL drama this much, but I ended up giving it a solid 9/10. Thatās even higher than my very first BL drama (Revenged Love) ... so that says a lot! š
Now Iām reallyyyyy hoping for a Season 2 because Iām not ready to say goodbye yet. Top Form totally won my heart and itās officially on my faves list! š
⨠If youāre new to BL like me or just looking for a drama with amazing acting, a solid story, and insane chemistry, this is definitely the one to watch!

I fell for Yoo Seung Ho. He's such an amazing actor. I've only seen him in Missing You and I hated him a lot on that drama. Ā I wish to see him more and I am excited about his new project with Kim So Hyun.
There's nothing unlikable about this drama. I cried a lot and laugh a lot. I just soooo love this. I want to have more. I just don't want it to end. It's been a long time since I've felt like this after finishing a drama. I want part 2 T.T!!!!!!!

IT'S WORTH IT!
I really love this series!! ! To the point where I finished Season 2 in one sitting. I didn't sleep at all! I really love the chemistry of Uehara and Nao. I love Uehara especially. He's just so handsome, I can't take it. I don't know why he got all the hate. Maybe because he's just misunderstood. He has a difficult time expressing himself and that's why Nao's so insecure in the relationship. He's not perfect on expressing his feelings and that's what makes him human. We all have flaws.I like Natsume too. He's cute and kind. But Uehara and Nao are just perfect for each other so he really doesn't have a chance. I kinda hate him when he went out of bounds. Betraying his friend and such. And complicating Uehara and Nao's relationship. It was solved by him though so I'll give him some credits.
I hope there's another season (about their married life). Though I know it's just a wishful thinking. I just wanted one hah. Sorry, I've never felt this way towards any drama for a very long time. The so called post-drama addiction and withdrawal syndrome. That's just how good this series is.
I'm really glad I tried this drama. It's really worth my sleepless night.
