I know Chief Kang has done a lot of bad stuff, but I am still really rooting for her to get the independent police rights. I don't want everything she has given up, including her own morality, for the past 17 years to go to waste all because she trusted the wrong person.
Edit: Omg noooooo just saw the end of the episode! Ugh, why, writers, just why?! Why would you kill her. Couldn't you have given her a better redemption story!! One where she comes clean about everything and gets a fair punishment by the law?! This kind of ending is just so unfair :'(
lmao I guess the reason why dramas tend to have the 2nd female lead as someone completely unlikable is cause if the 2nd lead is actually awesome than all these fanwars break out about who the end couple should be.
I think I've gotten to the point where the only character I actually like anymore is Oh Soo Hyun. Everyone else is either annoying, or so boring that I can't bring myself to care about them, like, at all.
The Emperor is acting like such a douche! Like are you kidding me, you think Nyang is just going to fall into your arms and proclaim that she's in love with you after you try to kill Wang Yu, aka the person she is obviously in love with! His spoiled and bratty behavior was cute in the beginning, but now it's like get yourself together man! I mean the least he could do is teach himself how to read, and yet he doesn't even bother until Nyang practically forces him too.
And I'm only about halfway through so I can only imagine how much worse his behavior is gonna get :(
I love the lead actor. The way he's playing the character is so amazing. You could really tell the difference…
You just put everything that i wanted to say about the kiss into words! The level of intensity, and how it changed things between them in an instant, just all of it!
And i didn't think about it before but it would make perfect sense that that's the reason why she invited him in. And the symbolism with the piano room! I didn't even catch that until you said it!
The writer is really amazing if she meant to say all that with just one action then. I've never seen any of her other work so I'm just judging by these for episodes, but so far this has been really good. Except for that one bit with the mothers death. That just kinda felt really rushed and forced. Like a really unoriginal plot device. i would have liked it more if it had been handled in a more organic way. I do love what it did to Lee Sun Jae tho and how it effected him as a character so I guess I can't complain too much about it

Agreed women do need to take on a more aggressive role when it comes to that stuff. And yeah, I didn't mean that every kiss should be exactly like this one, it was more that I just meant that I wish there would be more emotion involved like in this one. I wasn't trying to romanticize the kiss, but rather show how well the actor was able to show everything the character was feeling in that moment. "So much of the passion, desperation, anger, and need that he was feeling were communicated through just that one scene" I was trying to say that through this line.
Something that I am confused by is why did Oh Hye Won invite him to come inside right after the kiss? I mean if she did feel violated why would she have done that?
I love the lead actor. The way he's playing the character is so amazing. You could really tell the difference from how he was before his mother's death and then after. He's doing such a good job of showing how he has changed without making it feel like we're watching a completely different character.
And then that kiss scene :O omg that was so good!! The way he looked at her with such emotion. You could see just how desperate he was to kiss her. And then that little moment right before the kiss where he hesitates for just one little second. And then the kiss itself! So much of the passion, desperation, anger, and need that he was feeling were communicated through just that one scene!
The one downside is that this show is making me greedy in the sense that now I want all the kdramas to have kisses this passionate and meaningful instead of the ones we usually see
Lmao you could basically hear the Chiefs internal scream when Oh Jin Hee asked him what happens to someone if they're pregnant in the middle of their internship. Oh God I just can't- that terrified look was freaking priceless!! And then that little stammer when he asked her what she meant! Man that cracked me up so much
Man I have so many problems with Oh Chang Min right now. First he forcefully kisses Oh Jin Hee when she has just…
hmm I'm not sure. I know that it was mentioned that if Changmin didn't get married he would be a doctor by now, so I can't imagine that he would be that much younger than Chief.

Yepp and the worst part is that his behavior is supposed to be seen as romantic. I mean after what they went through with their first marriage you'd think he'd be a little more cautious and mature this time.
Man I have so many problems with Oh Chang Min right now. First he forcefully kisses Oh Jin Hee when she has just rejected him. I mean she was literally trying to push him away, so she obviously did not want that kiss. And then he acts so rude to his mother and collegue. I understand why he might be mad at his mother, but that is just such unproffesional behavior in front of a collegue. He still acts so immature that it's off putting.
Which is exactly why I am getting so much second lead syndrome up in here. The Chief is just so awkward and adorable and cute and that is just pretty much my kryptonite. Ugh why couldn't he be the main lead instead!!
Did he seriously have to yell at her and act so possessive and controlling just cause he was jealous? Ugh. One of my biggest pet peeves with kdramas in general is when it's considered "romantic" that a male lead acts like a total douchebag.
I was so surprised when he said that he'd take responsibility for the patients death :O
And I'm so glad they're finally talking about their marriage and the reason why it didn't work out. Talking about the problem is a great first step towards fixing their issues.

And that scene on the bus was so adorable!! My Second Lead Syndrome was especially strong in this episode
