This whole thread of comments is disgusting. Sitting here and supporting Kinn Porsche and all the disgusting things that happen within the show. I understand wholeheartedly that it is fiction, but when we start normalizing and romanticizing rape and sexual assault in shows, then we see trends that start to normalize it in real life. Vegas is a disgusting and despicable character for what he did to Pete. He kidnapped him, tortured him, and raped him. Pete had Stockholm Syndrome. Vegas might've been abused as a child and continuing through his adulthood, but it doesn't justify anything he did to Pete. I truly don't know how you're defending him. Next, onto Kinn, same thing, Kinn raped Porsche after he was drugged by Vegas, that's enough said about Kinn. To sit here and recommend a show to people without any type of warning about the content and blatantly supporting and defending a character that is so disgusting is horrible. There are so many other shows that could be recommended that have more mature concepts without it normalizing and romanticizing rape and sexual assault and deeming it "okay" because it's fiction. Just because it's fiction doesn't mean the act is suddenly okay. It's still a disgusting act that is committed and that ruins people's lives every day. Liking morally gray characters doesn't mean condoning sexual assault and rape. Also, there are so many cute bls with HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS that are good. It's fine to be an adult and want to watch mature shows, but sitting here defending rape is far from adult-like and mature. Go watch some good mature queer shows and stop recommending people watch some nasty rape shit where the main characters are literally cousins and shut the fuck up.
