Yes I do see that, but I wish he were more honest with his feelings. Of course he probably didn't know how to react and what to do, so he chose the easier option out. But I wrote this more in the pov of Gushan. Because it feels like that. :)

Well it sure does feel like they don't know anything about the harms of AI. I don't think not having enough money is a valid excuse to use AI. To me it is only okay if it actually makes something better in life; like medical reasons, but this is not that. It makes people lazier and not think for themselves. And the fact that artists IP is being stolen constantly to feed the AI, and they are not compensated for the work. It's very ironic of these people to call AI "a tool to avoid plagiarism" like no it is not... because it literally is mostly just stolen stuff??? It's just a useless thing that steals water, electricity, other people's work, and makes the world more polluted (and also can be used for many malicious purposes).

yeah it's giving toxic parasocial fandom (these people are always in the comments from what I've seen) 😭 and 100% it could have been done without AI, so the budget excuse is just so lame. I don't know why this series is so important to them, they just had to keep banging my head to excuse the use of AI??? but pretty sure these people are pro AI anyway so it's no use, they are already lost 😭😭😭

yep... these people will defend this project no matter what, but also keep defending ai for no reason... the thing is: I don't think it will cost you 10,000$ to shoot a couple 5 second clips, or replace it with stock footage (if it's not AI)/re-use already shot scenes. one of the AI generated clips were like three soldiers just standing... don't u think u could've filmed that in no time? the defensiveness is crazy, it's also JUST A SERIES, and I can have my opinion?? I don't care if it has only a little AI, it is too much atleast for me who already works in a creative space. if you really respected artists, YOU WOULD NOT RESORT TO AI even IF the budget is low.

Feel like y'all are glazing this series a bit too much lol. It's just a series? I can also feel strongly about the usage of AI, and you guys are bashing me unfairly for it. I even said I liked the series, but you guys make it seem it's the end of the world if someone doesn't share the same opinion as you about this one serie. I just gave my opinion and how they could've worked with the small budget without using the AI generated imagery. I do appreciate the work people put into this but I don't appreciate the usage of AI imagery. That's it. Hope you guys can leave this at this.

Actually only -2,5 would have been -2 (out of 10) but dropped it more because of this. Working for free doesn't sit right with me either, and again I never said it was okay? But stolen unpaid work is ok to you guys? AI generated imagery is just a thing I dislike very much, and what is it to you if it makes me upset and drop the rating? I'm pretty sure you can live with it and could've moved on without making it such a big deal since it is just a series? I hope you guys can leave me alone and not keep fighting over my opinion. I just felt like sharing it, since that's what I usually do on here and definetly did not expect such AI defenders. For me no matter the budget, generative AI imagery is not an option for me.
