i didn't know this was going to be dragged out to 18 episodes omg. ugh the slight romance is so offputting and unnecessary. between hanjun/jaehui and whatever is going on with soocheol and hyejoon🤢. theyre practically siblings and he's clearly much older irl and on the show so it's not appealing at all lmao. and also romance w jaehui is whack bc her character is trash and those flashbacks when she was a child while inguk was grown were weird as hell. yuck. she did get better in ep 8 but she's still a dumb character i could do without. i refuse to drop this for one person bc it's great otherwise but i'm slowly getting to that point 😐 aside from the forced romance tho, it's still hilariously entertaining. love this side of seo inguk and kwak siyang, wish it was solely focused on cafe gang working on the case bc i don't care for jaehui, the prosecutor, or the other cops at all tbh
just started it and god i love when lee hyunwook plays a rich sexy asshole. he is so irresistable and looks damn good always. even when he was an evil piece of trash in mine he was still so attractive lmao 🥵
i just feel like the FL casting is so off. like in the flashbacks she is clearly a child while hanjun is a young adult and in the present day she looks like she's the older one by years lmao, i know theyre around the same age irl but eh it's not good look for the show to me. her character is still annoying and insufferable but that accidental kiss and her getting flustered was actually kind of funny. i would hate to see actual romance though based on their dynamic and those weird flashbacks of her as a kid while he's a grown man. and also hinting at sucheol crushing on the sister is so weird toough. just awkward looking/ unappealing matches all around. this show doesn't need romance sprinkled in AT ALL. but other than that and the annoying FL, the show is great. cafe minamdang crew dynamics is so fun to watch i wish it was only them involved
seeing jimin tell off rosa was NOT ENOUGH! I wanted that pathetic psycho bitch to get exposed and then slapped around by jimin so everyone at school could know how much of an insecure freak loser she is ugh
sorry but this would've been so much better if they just focused on the cafe gang handling different cases and completely removed the annoying FL and her entire storyline/arc. cafe minamdang team dynamics are so hilariously perfect especially when on missions but then the scenes of the FL just ruin it lol
idk, i must be the only one not hoping she end up with Seo Eun Pyung. he's just dry, the same expression everytimes…
you are not alone. he's annoying and weird lmao and his romantic feelings are baseless considering there's been no buildup and they barely spend time together. all his feelings/ knowledge of her are from when she was a kid. i love sangyeob but eunpyung can go.
rael does NOT need a man or romance here. i need her to complete the revenge and walk away with no ties
sorry but eunpyung is one of the most annoying parts for me. i have to skip his scenes even tho i love sangyeob. this character is not it. he's always in the way of her plans and he always acts like he knows her but they literally just got reacquainted in a couple weeks?months? and there is no real buildup to their relationship so why is he confessing? where are these feelings coming from when his only knowledge/feelings of her is from when she's a kid? ew. he barely got to know her in the present he just feels protective bc of the past. it's so dumb when he acts like he knows her so well when he hasnt even seen in 13 years. get a grip weirdo. lmao also the fact that he met her as a CHILD when he was a grown man in his mid 20s while working for her dad makes everything so gross. his savior complex is such a burden-the only reason so many are ok with this ship is because they're both hot and look similar in age present day. rael is better off with NO man, ending everyone around her once and for all. romance is not needed here
first ep was pretty solid. finally actor jaehyun <3 never liked the female lead even before all the mess tho and this role is no different. i just find her annoying but oh well, other than that the cast is great. its fun seeing NJ from our beloved summer, 2 actresses from at a distance spring is green, and 2 from school 2021 plus bae hyun sung from our blues all together. everyone's so beautiful
as a kdrama stan - this drama is average at best. great visuals and acting but poor pacing and i feel no attachment to any of the characters sadly. not the strongest kdrama i've seen but not the worst. there were still some decent parts that got your adrenaline and anxiety going
as a fan of the og- this remake is a huge disappointment. the anticipation was real because i was excited to see how korea was gonna handle one of my fav shows and i really thought the cast is PERFECT for each character. but after watching, all the characters just felt weaker, slower, and especially dumber which made it frustrating. i guess that may be a writing issue, idk. i fast forwarded thru a few scenes. i expected more from haesoo as berlin but he still did very well. and he looked damn good. i also liked how they tweaked it a little to make it their own with the nk/sk stuff but overall it still felt very lacking. and i know remakes rarely live up to the original but i did have high expectations for this and i was pretty let down. i'd give the first part like a 6 -6.5
So it's out. I have watched the original so I would like to set expectations before diving in to watch this one.…
I wouldn't say it's a carbon copy like the other user said but most of the big parts and details are the same. the characters in this one seem a little dumber and weaker than the og though which can be frustrating. also disappointed bc berlin isn't as tough or crazy as the original
Yes, I'm glad I wasn't the only one that found King Jae annoying. I thought it was me bringing over how I felt…
you're definitey not alone. i actually liked michael for a little but kang jae was annoying to me since the beginning and it just kept getting worse ugh
raph carried this show tbh so it's very unfortunate he lost to annoying ass kang jae. all my positive feelings for this drama just vanished after finding out who she picked. lmao the show was fun and cute and wasn't all bad despite me skipping a lot of scenes most episodes but i'm very glad i didn't waste my time actually watching the finale tho
kim dami comes back in the final act and it seems she'll be alongside the new girl for the lead in pt3 because they're going to look for their birth mother together and then leejongsuk is gonna hunt them down with seo eunsoo's character basically. lee jong suks role was tiny here so i guess it was a set up for the next part
found out my local theater was screening the roundup and this movie so i watched it today as soon as it came out! i was so excited. ive been waiting for this sequel forever ah. i don't understand the low rating - there was some cringey parts mostly due to some american or australian dude with awful acting/ english dialogue but the rest was dope. i think the new girl and characters held their own but obviously it wasn't gonna hit like the first. the violence / gore/ action was still fun and satisfying though. they set up for a part 3 in the post credits so i hope this is successful enough that they can actually make it or else i'll be pissed at the cliffhanger. but the final act was excellent and had me cheering. jin goo and lee jongsuk looked damn good too
just finished ep 5 and that final scene was so sexy like who knew park byung eun had that underneath his clothes. he was looking delicious in that bath and when he was on top of seo yeaji goddamnnn daddy and watching sora's bitchass in ruins was hilarious. love seeing her suffer
funny how after ep3 i said they need to pick up the pace and then ep4 did exactly what i was hoping for to move the story along. hope it keeps going. loving jang sun oh and yohan's relationship/dynamic. let's go prison boyfriends! lmao and the reveal that choi dae hoon's character is actually a mastermind too was nice. i knew there was more to him. they're all so sexy i'm here for this team. watching yohan kill that bald piece of shit was so hot and satisfying, wish he got a few more stabs in
aside from the forced romance tho, it's still hilariously entertaining. love this side of seo inguk and kwak siyang, wish it was solely focused on cafe gang working on the case bc i don't care for jaehui, the prosecutor, or the other cops at all tbh
