she helped the ED because she promised will give her enough so she can give Li and her maid a decent life. she did it not because she wanted to but at the end she did help ED yes, but not willingly, she realized she has done wrong did she repent? yes and tho she didnt try to make up for wat she did in the past at first, she did make up for her wrongdoing of stealing the GED seal and she let LQ and JBN know because ED was planning to execute her, so she exposed ED plan by first telling LQ (imo) in order to make up what she did wrong to Li's fam and then when LQ failed to check abt the truth of her saying cause he got caught by JBN, then GMR go to JBN (also imo) abt the ED's plan and asked JBN's help so she can safely get out from the capital is because she know JBN wont believe anythings regarding LQ innocence (yet) and the wedge between LQ and JBN was done by her doing, so she chose to use datexcuse. and on the episode before the GED died, when JBN found ot she has been hiding in the palace as the ED right hand, she said dat she alr let the past stay as past while GED didnt and gave her flog sentence and put GMR into prison at the end. GMR didnt blame GED she said she deserves it. dats wheni can c she really know what she done.
