Guys should I watch? I just binged TRIE & SSA and loved them both. I keep reading this one is longer in epi - like whaaaaa? That's unfair that this one is a longer series. Is there kissing & sex involved? Cuz I will watch if there is - like the 2 previous ones. I wish SSA was longer (sigh) 8{
Just finished "The Rain In Espana" and quickly started this one which is suppose to be the 2nd book of the author.
I'm a sucker for drama/romance type of uni & time-jump series and this series gave me that. I loved Yunna & Hiro's story~ loved their chemistry right off the bat. The cringe part again like TRIE series, Hiro speaking english and Yunna speaking pinoy was hella cringe. Like, they need to train this girls how to crossover with en/oy language or something. That part annoyed the heck out of me!
The storyline was a good one. However, there are some holes in the series. Like the friend group - why was Sam the only one there at times? And I felt like Luna & Kalix were not necessary in some of the scenes. I get it, Luna & Kalix are the "it couple" but they were not necessary or needed imo. A quick facetime or something would have suffice lol.
Another annoying part was when it time jumps to Yunna being preggos, why not let your besties know, perhaps they could have helped you heal or at least offer support. I mean Sam is very mature and always said the right things, however the friend group was just non-exist during & after the pregnancy and I get it, Yunna didn't want to be judge, but girl you are pregnant already...let it go and find your people when you need them most.
Yunna having a girl was kinda eekkk - it almost felt like that Avi could have had the same life has Yunna and Avi would have resented mom. I mean don't get me the wrong, the little girl was so cute and very well spoken. But I wish they would have given her a boy instead, and the boy would have looked like Hiro and maybe would have said a few times that he wanted to be a pilot - I don't know something around those lines. Having a girl felt like the story would have repeated itslef-
I was annoyed how Sam always took care of Avi - like what? Where is this girls Tita or other friends? that was super weird.
When Hiro and Yunna reconnect and her falling and hanging on to him around his waste was not necessary - - that was stupid. I wish they would have reconnected a different way - it wasn't has emotional has I wanted lol.
Hiro accepting Avi right off was adorbs. Hiro loving on Yunna was hot - they had the best sex chemistry imo.
Saw a short on YT w/Kalix & Luna a few days ago and got me intrigued. Came here looking for the "where to watch" and quickly found it. Binged this mini-series in 2 days and here are my thoughts/pov. I love uni and time-jump type of series so this was right up my alley.
Overall, it was a good watch. The leads had a great chemistry. The super cringe part is Kalix speaking english and Luna speaking pinoy - like wtf is that.??? The friend group was so cute, however someone noted below about being friends with Luna and you are so right. Luna gave the "I'm better than you prettier than you mean girl" type of vibes. I also, don't think Luna was a good friend. I sense a fall out later in life lol :) Sevi was harmless and super cute. I liked him!
I did like the kissing scenes between Kalix & Luna. I wish k-dramas & c-dramas kissing scenes were like this, instead of the fish kiss :}
It's a good watch, good storyline and kept me going for 2 days. There are some potholes that left me questioning a few things!

Wang Chu is doing such an amazing job and I love love Peng, but the way he treats her, is making me hate him. The kid is annoying me so much by calling her mom. I love angyst, pull at your heart type of dramas but Peng is making it difficult to watch. Someone send help : {
I personally loved this romance drama. Crystal is so beautiful and always plays her characters well. I could not picture any other actress playing Rose besides Crystal, she completely nailed the role.
This is definitely a slice-of-life drama. It feels kinda real life circumstances for a women. They did a great job casting the FL's brother/Su Su/boss/her lovers/parents etc.
Absolutely loved Eric & Pu Jia (soul mate). I loved how Eric popped in and out of her life. However, I knew that Eric wasn't the one given that he was too career focus and past issues with his parents. Pu Jia had only such a short time to live, however he lived his life to the fullest. Hated her husband FXW such a controlling freak and what a nightmare of a MIL. The pilot was not necessary. I felt that he was never a love interest but rather a friend/mentee.
Wonderfully written and perfect cast. I will def be re-watching this one later on in the year!!!!!!! Bravoooo

I felt Kim Ji performance was good, but not spectacular. I don't think her performance in QOT warrant an award let alone best actress. Like you mentioned, there are better actresses with better storyline deserving of such award!
I had really high expectations for this drama! Finally, after finishing it off this past week, it didn't leave me wanting more. I felt that Kim Soo Hyun carried the entire show. It was very predictable and I knew right off who were the bad guys lol!!! It's all right and nothing I would ever rewatch again. I felt the Queen of Tears was Kim Soo the whole time. He cried in almost every episode. I really hope there is NO season 2. One last thing, I thought it would make me cry, but it didn't. It was blehhh. Anyhoo, at most I give this show is 6/10.
Wow!!!! I know people drop it or don't like it because its slow. I actually really enjoyed it!!! I binged this and all I can say is that I am in LOVE with Son Su Ku aka Mr. Gu!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing job from the cast. From the Dad to the siblings to Mr. Gu!!!!!!!!! Bravoooooooooooooo 10/10!!!
