Dropped on ep 14 because I couldn't stand the fl character. She's supposed to be a potentially good lawyer but constantly makes incorrect snap judgments, acts on her emotions, gets paralyzed when situations are difficult, and relies on the ml to save her form her bad decisions

I know the Hong Sisters can inspire Love/Hate from people but I personally enjoy their weird sense of humor and they killed it with Hotel del Luna. They are at their best when given charismatic leads who can act and fit into their comedy (Lee Seung-gi x2, Cha Seung-won x2, So Ji-sub, Kang So-ra, Yoo Yeon-seok, Oh Yeon-seo, IU, Yeo Jin-goo). Joo Sang Wook is a good choice and I'm excited for Oh Na Ra, Yoo Joon Sang, and Lee Jae Wook. That is a solid lineup of good actors.

I tried..... But dropped on episode 3. Storyline was repetitive, acting was questionable. I just couldn't do it.

I keep trying to finish it but it's not easy, I find it more bland than go go squid or love o2o. Part of problem is that the Netflix subtitles are so terrible. If I have to hear how someone is trying to "brush a copy" I may break something. I don't even know what that is supposed to mean.

I could not get all the way through to the end. Or if I did, it was not memorable. Lee Joon Gi is so frail looking…
Everytime he got in a fight I was waiting for something to break! He really was too skinny in this drama.

Hit episode 13 now and I am so frustrated. Jae Yi went from being a woman who punched a crapply judge to a delicate flower who has to be protected from all the dangers. Instead of treating her like the partner he claims, Sang Pil excludes her from everything including the location of her mom and then follows with a weak, "she told me not to tell you" . No apology, no acknowledgment that he was wrong, and even worse, she forgives him! Next time something hard happens he will justify hiding and lying to her again, deciding that it's for her best interest. She has a brain, a career, and can hold her own, he shouldn't decide that for her!

And now in the last 3 episodes she's back to beating up gangsters. Sigh. I like it but the inconsistent writing is jarring. Like others have said, this would be better without the romance.

I'm glad someone else watched Playful Kiss and thought it was ridiculous. Everyone else keeps saying how romantic it is and all I could think is, "he's a total sociopath, how is this romantic?"
