I think I found the world of asian dramas after coming across the Tawan/manga back then) It is insanse how the very same story was repeatedly adapted many times in many different countries! Now Thai version is there. :)))
I started watching in 2006, and have watched hundreds since, so my memory is a little hazy. Having said that,…
I feel you. I also started around 2007-2008 and cannot remember the first drama that I watched :/ But must be a Jdarama or Taiwanese . That was what I was mostly watching back then! I feel old :)))my first Must be Meteor Garden though.
I started from the remakes of the animes and mangas (My first anime was Sailormoon than I found out the anime world then I found out that there were dramas with real people ^^ ! !) That is how I entered the Asian Drama(especially J drama) world! But after a while Korean dramas got the stage and I stopped watching J dramas for a while . but now I understand that J dramas convey really good lessons and they are really worth of my time! I just love Japanese culture and I hope everyone would give these dramas more credit !
When you call 2010+ oldies :):):):) All good recommendations thank you for the post - but I think oldies are before 2010 for me :):) (aaaaah I feel so oooold! )
Thank you for the post :):) I have just recently watched the Tunnel and The King : Eternal Monarch. I need a bit space from the parallel worlds! But it definitely seems very good! I will definitely watch it in the upcoming months !
I agree hard with "not funny for me". I find Taiwanese dramas are the ones where I genuinely laugh the most, with…
*even the shows from my own country is often not funny to me* I cannot agree more with this comment! I am not from Asian part of the world but I find the Japanese and Korean dramas funny the most! It is very interesting and wonderful how everybody has different taste :)
Lakorns are really a guilty pleasure of mine! hehehehe .
However I mostly skip like 40-50% of the scenes because they are either not funny for me or not relevant. I wouldnt be lying if I said I only watch because of the main couple's cuteness, romance and OMG for the scenery!...
I dont want to offence anyone but I think the production, script, acting, I mean almost everything have a huuuge room for improvement.
I was very surprised when I saw how BL was a very popular genre! I havent still watched any BL, but I will take your advice and try it once.
I don't get how after drinking heavily, they wake up without hangover. Or even if they have hangover, after drinking some energy drink, they function perfectly fine 1 hour later.. After I drink that much, I look like smashed potato! and my brain doesnt function :D
I really liked the first 4 episodes! I like Gong Hyo Jin! she can nail everything!!! And how can she look that young when she is 39 years old :O I'm 28 and I dont look that young!

Thanks for the suggestions!

They are real time couple. And the chemistry is awesome!!! Electrifying!
Want to see him in the upcoming dramas as well!
