not happy ending, atleast apart from girl anyone should've survived but can't say
I did not say it was a happy ending. I said it was bittersweet because of Lahn being a single mother and her child being the only family she has by the end. It isn’t completely sad, nor happy. More of a like “good for her, she gets revenge and a family despite the cost” end.
So far looks like a winner. Cast appears to be great. Interesting Thai/Chinese combo. Cinematography etc good…
I agree. I like the pacing on this one. I enjoy that you’re thrown into Pete’s world pretty much right away and you learn things about the world with him. It’s a storytelling technique I enjoy, especially in supernatural heavy stories like this one.
If you’re not a fan of historical or high fantasy plots, then Scarlet Heart may not be your cup of tea. And it is not one of the BLs, which is okay for me. I’ll watch anything if I like the actors and the plot.
It’s more of a guess based on how many Q’s they have left (10-12 is my estimation). And it will likely air before or around the time Scarlet Heart does, which was mid-year (Jun-Jul).
I’m halfway through the drama now. It’s really cute. But the fl did get on my nerves a bit, especially in her reaction to the fact her gay best friend happens to end up in a relationship with a guy she liked. Seriously, she has no gaydar and that was a little annoying but not enough to be like a major grievance or anything. But since this is the second chance/second marriage trope for half of the four couples, it may not be for everyone.
