can annyone explain this series for me ? i don't get what's going on š no hateful or mean replies please.
So thereās this guy that holds a fragment of a powerful demonās soul (Pete) and he has a rough life, we mostly see this in his unhealthy relationship with his younger sibling and his greed for money that leads him to gamble and take on jobs that could be dangerous and inconvenient just for the cashā the cash he needs to pay his uncle for the property rights of his house. While gambling, he meets a shaman (Niran) and they end up doing business together to get rid of lesser demons/negative spirts called Yao. These two end up friends by circumstance basically.
As an aroace person myself, so far SkyNaniās characters have given off queer people in platonic relationships…
Agreed. As far as liking Thai dramas and bl/gl, SkyNani so far are the only consistent ace rep we get. I would venture to headcanon Seaās character in Vice Versa as demiromantic, but thatās the only other example of arospec coded characters so far.
Finished watching LYT and looked to see what P'Dome is directing next to find out it's this. That makes me even…
As an aroace person myself, so far SkyNaniās characters have given off queer people in platonic relationships (at least in the coding). Iām not sure if they will hold that same energy for this series, but it has been true for them up to this point. I have noticed there are SOME ace/arophobes in bl fandom spaces, and that fact often makes me frustrated when expressing my opinion towards SkyNani and DewTeeās characters/series and how I view them as (perhaps unintentional) representation.
Okay, after having watched the second ep twice (I honestly feel like Iāll end up watching every episode two or three times to see and analyze all the little details, letās be real here), I really am liking the introduction of Kristās character. Heās unsettling and strange, and def giving some kind of person that gave in to a demon vibes. I hope he ends up being an important antagonist.
It's inhumane to release only one episode a week.š±If Pete has a demon inside him that cured his hearing loss,…
I wonder about that too. If he does go deaf towards the end of the series, will that be addressed properly (i.e, if it is partial hearing loss in both ears or full hearing loss in only one ear and if that could be aided with a hearing aid or not). Or will he learn sign language? But honestly, I think theyāll probably go with his character being able to hear as a passing gift from the demon that inhabited his body for so long.
