Loved it... but wanted more intimacy. I heard somewhere about "I Hear the Sunspot: Theory of Happiness" -- but…
I was a bit disappointed they cut out the kiss from the novel that was supposed to happen after the confession...it was such an emotional scene in the book that I cried reading it haha
Non made mistakes but he's still a victim. I don't get why you can't understand that. Non being dumb and making…
They really wrote Non to make very odd decisions though, which makes it hard to 100% empathise with him. For example, why did Non even choose to be around that group in the first place. It wasn't even like they pretended to be nice to him at the beginning. They were pretty open with hating him, calling him 'Greasy'. Even if Non wanted the opportunity to be a screen writer like it was pretty obvious they were going to use him and push him around. Maybe he had other reasons to pursue a friendship with them that hasn't been revealed yet but it was kind of odd. Plus, even if he was desperate to make friends and was lonely, did he really have to choose a group of people that were so blatantly horrible?? I'd just stick with messaging and being close to Phee. Then when he had to pay Por for the broken camera he chose to do shady business with Tee rather than confiding in Phee or thinking of literally any other option e.g. selling some of his own belongings. Also why did he leave it so long to go to Phee/ Phee's police father? He was in way way too deep before telling anyone.
Non and the relationship he had with his tutor was also kind of grey for me. I get that there was definitely a power imbalance but they really made it seem like Non wasn't the least bit hesitant to sleep with the tutor. He lied about it to Phee so easily as well. I personally would be up all night balling my eyes out and feeling like absolute shit.
The bullying was horrible, the tutor persuing him was gross and what Tee's uncle did was absolutely horrifying. Non is definitely a victim. BUT why did he make every possible wrong choice imaginable. Like I really struggle to think of an instance where I thought yes Non that was such a good idea. He was just a teenager yes but I don't know if I believe that he had zero freewill in all of this or that he had zero other options/choices he could have made. If anything, this series made me realise how characters are never truly black or white, good or bad.
Plus, he really did bring weapons to the final shoot and attempt to kill people...bit yikes
Non remove that bracelet and burn it. I love Phee but this week he was an absolute hypocrite. How dare he reveal…
He didn't really help organise everything though-only the original plan which was to get everyone to confess their role in everything (presumably to take to the police?--> get justice) and to find out what happened to Non. He didn't plan to kill anyone, at least from what he has said. Jail and having the murder of a group of people on your conscious doesn't really sound like a fun time. We still don't know if it really was Jin that uploaded the vid because his computer crashed when he spilt the drink on it. He tells Phee that he did because he doesn't know how else it could have gotten out there- he must really believe that it was his fault, but maybe not. Still incredibly messed up to film it though Maybe hot take but his parents weren't very good to him at all and they had a part in everything that happened. They should have protected and listened to him, not degrade and disown him. So really it wasn't the tape alone- it was also the trash parents response. Also he did end up returning back home though (and wrote the new script). He didn't just run away in the end- Tee's uncle kidnapped and beat him and who knows what after.
I will agree that Phee's reaction to Jin after confessing to the sex tape was disappointing- like he basically didn't react at all? Why wasn't he pissed off or disappointed at all- did he already know or something??
Also, to be fair, New really didn't do anything but provide a drug. 😂🤣 These guys are taking out themselves…
I mean...even if Top wasn't the one to pull the stake out, he would have died from blood loss- New blocked off every way to get any medical attention/for anyone to leave so 100% his fault imo. Plus he didn't just 'provide a drug', he drugged them-against their will. He could have provided the antidote at anytime but he wants them all to die. Also, Fluke shot Top in self-defence tbh and the only reason Top was going to attack Fluke in the first place was New drugged and convinced him to. It is horrendous what happened to New and his family of course but let's not pretend that he is the only victim here.
I'm a Ken-Lue stan. I felt no connection to Din in this entire show and making Din be Lue literally ruins any…
The whole premise of the show is such a fail when no viewer seems to really care about Din's character. If Din was a better fleshed out character and had more chemistry with Ken then maybeee i'd be rooting for Din to be Lue and reunite with Ken and have their love continue. All we ever saw of Din was him being shot then some flashback make out scenes. Maybe if it was clearly stated to the audience that Din is Lue since ep 1 then Din's character would be built up through Lue but because they are so different they may as well have nothing to do with each other.

Totally agree like Din and Ken scenes have so little chemistry imo. Lue is so different to Din in every way that he may as well be a completely different person. I see no trace of Din, even in the way Lue looks at Ken.
