I really loved Something About 1% which also had Ha Suk Jin in it, do you guys think I will like this too?
In here, Ha Suk Jin has a little bit of different side to him than he did in Something About 1%. You'll find out, but not in the very first episode(s).
The pace of this drama is amazing. It has a great combination of fantasy and normal world. It's not the kind of middle schooler fantasy. It's not Harry Potter magic. It's not vampire or superhuman story. It's very unique. Each character has its own charm. They're very well created. The script is very well written so far. There's been only 4 episodes up until today, so for those who are looking for romance, calm down and start watching. It won't happen in the first four episodes for sure, but as you start watching, elements other than romance will suck you in first. Be sure to watch!
I started watching this series without any expectation, but this definitely did NOT disappoint me. I'd rather say that this is the best drama I've seen in – I don't know – a year? Maybe more?
I did not expect anything from both Go Ahsung and Ha Sukjin because I've only seen them as supporting roles in other drama which I didn't pay attention to. Yet, both of them got me hooked! And, it wasn't only them. Every single actor has done an extraordinary job. I feel like it's been so long since I've seen a drama WIHTOUT awkward or forced acting.
The storyline is actually the best part I'd like to praise. The story is very dynamic from the very first episode. It's really a mix of slice-of-life, romance and comedy, which only gets better as the story progresses. There are also twists and turns in the plot that are not TOO dramatic. They're just enough to keep you interested. The story really depicts real life as well.
If you're looking for something that's not comical, I strongly recommend this drama. I can't wait until it finishes airing, and I hope the remaining episodes don't disappoint (and I doubt it will). I will definitely be back to write a 10/10 review.
Man, I really didn't expect this drama to mean so much to me.
