It'd be so funny if they suddenly insert Blackpink's Whistle as the background music in one of these episodes XD Aigoo... Our Bonghee's ability to "whistle"...
Im so bitter that this masterpiece drama is so underrated
Ah, I don't check the ratings. I'm speaking from my experience. At least a LOT of people around me are watching. I'm in a group chat of people from my college which has over 200 people and all they're talking about is this drama. Mostly it's because Yoo Ahin...
nam ju hyun's character is making me hard to fully like the drama......or is it just me?
Exactly my thoughts! I'm actually improving(?) in terms of watching an on-air drama lol. (I usually watch a drama after it finished airing.) I can wait for this. If this was a completed one, I might have dropped it already.
i love the drama, its a good start and the leads are cute and pretty, but thats it "cute and pretty"…
Oh yes, "adult working lady", that's so accurate. I feel like the costume department is doing her no justice at all. What she's been wearing is pretty, but it doesn't really suit her (and it doesn't even suit her job. I mean, she's been wearing too many short shorts...?!) I agree she's glam'd up so much since I last saw her. She reminds me a bit of Han Hyojoo.
I've seen the first 2 episodes (based on the 35-minute format) and it's been entertaining, but I still feel like this show is pacing a bit too fast in the way that they put the characters through too many unexplained or ridiculous situations to get the story going. (This may be the result of the 35-minute episode format)
It also feels like it's trying to be funny as well. Some other comedy series don't need to try hard to be funny like this. (This is spoken from a 24-year-old's point of view. This show might be more suitable for younger audiences although I refuse to say I'm old at all XD) I also think it's because the lead characters seem to lack charm. Both Ji Changwook and Nam Jihyun fit more serious roles in my opinion.
But I'm curious so I'm sticking around a bit more.
PS. According to Korean websites, they're still calling it a 16-episode drama and label each episode with Part 1 and 2 which combine into a 1-hour episode, by the way.

Same! I actually got a bit tired of Ji Changwook being way too typecasted for action pieces, but here I can't seem to get used to his new role either. For Nam Jihyun, I've always seen her in child roles. When I saw her as the lead (either child or adult) roles in previous shows, I always thought she wasn't the typical "pretty" female lead for Koreans and it was honestly a bit of a turn-off for me. But then again, she seems somehow too pretty for her role here. Ah.. I hate being so picky like this lol. The story seems fun anyway. I'm also staying. I guess I need to give it a bit more time to get used to both of them in these roles :)
