How can this show be so fluffy from the very beginning? ♥ I'm falling hard for Kim Jiwon more than I ever thought I would. Also, having Choi Wooshik as a guest star was very cunning. Now how do I survive the rest of the show without him?
If I watched 10 episodes and I'm still not into this drama, should I give it another try or just leave it?…
It's still airing so we don't know how it'll turn out yet. I normally wait until a drama finishes airing and binge-watch all at once, but I'm enjoying my weekly experience with this one so far. I think it's a simple drama that reveals its story bit by bit in each episode. It's a good change from other complicated epic dramas that come out this year. If you doubt it, maybe you can put it on hold and come back when it finishes? Then you can read the reviews or comments first before deciding to continue :))) I tell you though, the latest episodes are escalating!
I honestly agree, I feel like this drama would be so much better if it wasn't for the time travel. The time…
I totally agree with the facepalm moments. If they totally discard the time-travel element and just make him a good detective from the present day, it'll totally work fine because his character is talented, and I would've given it a really high score.
Time traveling part was written badly – it could've shown more consequences of playing with time or something. Or, he could travel in time way more often that it affects the case somehow. In the end they force us to accept that it's just "destiny" that brings him to the future to save his daughter and Sunjae (which, if he didn't arrive in the future and touch this case in the first place, they might've not been in danger at all. Who knows?).
It's a bit too simple-minded and irresponsible for me. Really put me in a dilemma. I never really give 7.5 to a show I like this much but it needs a really big room for improvements.
I just changed my rating from 8/10 to 7.5/10 and I don't even know if that's final. People are gonna hate me for giving higher scores to other nonsensical romcoms. Just make sure you understand that it's a 7.5/10 comparing to what it promises as a time-traveling crime drama, not comparing to others.
EDIT: It's back to 8/10 after giving it some thoughts. Still, even when it was 7.5/10, I wasn't disappointed in it. I'm still not. I just saw a lot of room for development.
Fighting my urge to rewatch this now after I heard of the American remake of this... but I have a whole bunch of other dramas unfinished. Joo Won can slay me anytime <3
Zomg. The "Two Connected Worlds" is gone from the drama's title.
I didn't mean anything by saying so. I just said that because I refresh this page many times a day and in between those times, that part suddenly disappeared. The Korean title still has the "Two Connected Worlds" part, FYI.
Ah... I miss Faith. For a while I totally forgot that it's Lee Minho in this one. I keep saying that City Hunter is his best drama, but this one is as good. Gonna rewatch it soon <3
