I remember the director originally wanted 20 episodes but MBC basically said that nobody watches historical dramas with 20+ episodes these days

If TRS had 20+ episodes, I wonder if we could’ve had:

- Queen Hyoui + Deok Im friendship (historically were like sisters); in the Yi San drama, Queen Hyoui and Songyeon had a good relationship
- San using Deok Im’s residence as his office even after her death
- Him taking care of her while she was sick and even bathing her
