I agree plus the original novel doesn’t even have a sequel so it feels unnecessary. I wonder if it’ll be set in the same universe as L&R like how Love and Destiny was set in the same universe as Eternal Love.

Yeah I’m reading the Lazy Cat translation

I’m currently reading the original novel and I prefer Lu Yan Ran in the original novel to the drama. I’m assuming she was made the way she is in the drama to add more drama. Also in the novel, XJ and LL’s mother is alive. I think the drama killed their mother off when XJ was a child in order for XJ to have something against Yuan Lang + as a reason for XJ’s sect to hate on demons (also for more drama).

What happened in the deleted scenes?

This drama is available on IQIYI in Southeast-Asia. I hope IQIYI makes it available in North America and in more locations.

The only likable characters in this drama for me are the main characters, Jo, Duean’s family members, Pam’s mother, and Ngor’s sister.

I can’t stand Frank, Ngor’s father, Yok’s father, Pu’s mother, and Pu’s uncle (her mom’s husband). Frank and Pu’s uncle are so creepy.

His death is satisfying to watch especially by the person who kills him
